Thanks for this one. The show had several closing themes, one of which was a discordant jazz type theme. However this was the one I liked best. The Jack Benny show had the same pattern, several different theme songs, only one of which was really good.
As I've noted before, sponsors had more control over the TV shows they sustained in the '50s and early '60s- even placing their product or logo directly behind the closing credits (as, for example, Philip Morris, Procter & Gamble and General Foods did during the original closing credits of "I LOVE LUCY"); in syndicated prints of this episode, the credits were refilmed against a neutral background {as in :03}, eliminating the sponsor's product.
The music takes me back to my childhood and the Black and White Tv set in our living room. I rememeber my dad would whistle the tune for hours after watching the show.

Incidentally, the theme heard in the closing credits is the one originally used on the Nelson's radio show: "Mary", by Ozzie and J. Fred Coots.
