  • Look up "Destroyed in Seconds - Train Crossing" on youtube. It contains an analysis of the crash. Take a look.

  • i see train wins

  • This happened 4 blocks from my home!!!! i was outside warming up my car, sounded like a bomb went off!! It was a Lady driver.......

  • *insert obligatory women drivers comment here*

  • @Adam19822000 and it was a woman too

  • this video should be re-named to train vs trailer. as it never touches the truck at all. next to that, i load these and there is nothing to the trailer lol, and the frame just swings out of the way. and whoever put the lights there is an absolute moron.

  • was it a women driver?

  • It wasn't the truck drivers fault. It's the f&!@ing cities fault because they installed traffic lights next to the railroad.

The femal drive and her dog were not injured

  • I hate people who blame the engineer. "They should stop the train!" No. they shouldnt because if they tried, it'd still eat the truck. so it's the drivers, not engineer's fault.

  • Hopefully, the city installed a "pre-signal" before the crossing, with "NO TURN ON RED" signs, thus forcing all traffic to stop before going over the tracks. The light would then change before the main signal does, removing any driver's excuse of "But I got caught by a changing signal," for stopping illegally on the railroad tracks.

  • would have been 10 times worse if the thing was loaded

  • Comment removed

  • @Tr2u1ck It was. 37,000 lbs. of strawberries.

  • @newserid doesnt look it though

  • @Tr2u1ck The strawberries were packed in blue plastic drums, which flew everywhere. One of them bounced up and hit the cut lever, separating the engine from the rest of the train.

  • @newserid it must have been not worthy to report. i was expecting plywood, pallets and strawberries bursing outof the trailer.. then the train possibly derail. another YT vid shows the aftermath of a BNSF train derailed after hitting a rig loaded with 39k of pizza

  • Ahh... they can buff that out.

  • POW, RIGHT IN THE KISSER!!!!!

  • The news anchor says about the trailer desinigrating well I am not trying to sound like a smart alike but lady what do you expect will happen when a probably 70 mile per hour Amtrak Train comes flying at something like a semi trailer? Oh I suppose she thought the trailer would just very gently get pushed off the track!! In my opinion like all other train vs. Vehicle accidents this video teaches motorists to never go around crossings. I just hope people get the message.

  • I agree the truck driver was at fault, but the traffic lights needed to be synchronized with the signal lights at the Rail Road crossing in the first place. By the way, blame women drivers all you want, but the Trains Engineer was also a woman.

  • haha asshole

  • what ah dud. you just cant park on the tracks

  • oooooo

    holy shit

  • That bad sound gives her a funny lisspspsp!

  • the driver was charged because she has a class A driver license. that comes with the territory of being a truck driver, the law will almost always charged the truck driver even if it's not their fault, blame it on the politics, but the rules are there for safety.

  • Blame it on politics?????

    Huh???????

Absolutely not. Blame it on the driver who made the mistake.

That's the problem with citizens of the US today. Individuals are no longer responsible for their actions. It's easy to "blame it on politics" or "let the government take care of me".

    Horseshit.

This driver was trained, knew the law, and chose to disobey it.

Driver's fault. Period. End of story.

  • @Boss302fan How about "fault of idiot driver, but with lessons for future civil engineers"? It generally tends to be in everyone's interest to make idiocy (which is always going to happen) less likely to result in disaster (which is harmful to trains as well as stupid truck drivers).

  • @themuffinman12345 I'll go along with that. I stand corrected. It wasn't the "End of the Story".

    The driver was at fault.

But decent engineering and planning can help reduce the case of accident for those who "screw up".

    I agree with you

  • the driver was charged be cause the driver WAS AT FAULT

  • There are some real craptastic intersections out there, but it is totally the truckers responsiblity to be clear of the tracks. And the same is true of any vehicle driver.

  • wtf it wasnt the truckers fault but of corse they have to charge someone hell they should have charged the guy sitting on his couch the next state over

  • That comment didnt make any sense.

    there was an accident.

the accident was caused by negligence.

the truck driver was the negligent party

    THEREFORE was charged accordingly

  • you both could be right because there was not enough room for him to clear the rails. on the other hand maybe he sould have thought of that.

  • it was an accident i saw this on most shocking the traffick light showed green then red so the truck driver had to stop on the railrod tracks true story i swear

  • oh yeah i saw that

  • shut up fagot, you dont know what your talking about fool

  • where da fuck u know it?

  • i saw that too

and i dont get why the truck driver was charged?

  • He was charged because he stopped his vehicle on the railroad tracks....which is against the law.

How old are you that you don't know that?

  • but wat else was he supposed to do then and yes i know thats illegal but he didnt do it on purpose

  • Very few accidents are "on purpose".

Truck drivers who are trained at handling such large pieces of equipment should know NOT to enter into a situation where their vehicle is stopped on the track. They either wait to cross when the path is clear, or they find another way around.

This driver chose to pull ahead and stop at the red light with his rig on the tracks. It was, as he found out, a mistake.

  • Im surprised none of the passing cars stopped and looked, i wouldve!!!!

  • because they're so stupid that they're used to things like this! ooh, the stupidity at its' best :)))))))

  • takin to the hospital? what for?

  • just to be checked for injury, even if they say they arent. or maybe neck problems from the impact?

  • R.I.P

  • So why not pull ahead a little further? I'm sure people will understand.

  • i saw this on destroyed in seconds on discovery channel the train had to get some repairs

  • And I live in the same county. Never knew about this

  • the reporter has a major lisp lolz

i lol'ed when she said ocksnart lmfao!

  • holy shit lol thats hilarious.....i think its poor audio though

  • Did it say that two people on the train had to be taken to the hospital? WTF is up with that, it maka no sensea (Spelling is not a mistake, it is for effect, so dont send me bitchy messages.)

  • trains always wins

  • I own the master footage for both angles

    contact me for licensing info

  • Oh yeah? You should give me a copy for free.

  • wow! this is very impresed good video

  • i was there when it happend it was like watch a action movie...

  • Were u behind the truck?

  • no i was about 100 yards give or take at the time i was on my lunch break and just happen to look and seen it all go down that was the best ever.....

  • i think the truck totally owned the train died lol

  • UG!!!

  • DAAYUM! OWNED!

    UG ftw.

  • i seen this on worlds most amazing videos

  • I seen it on Destroyed In Seconds

  • I saw it on World's Most Amazing Videos and Today show

  • dose she have lisp??????

  • "Amazingly no one is seriously hurt" ???

How would anyone get injured in this situation? Do american truckdrivers usually sit in the packagespace?

  • Trouble with American and Canadian trucking: It's full of under-qualified, third world (literally) drivers who are ruining the industry. This guy was no exception.

  • surreal00real, im british and i like americans

  • Just as the clip gets to the .35 / .36 second mark the truck driver can be seen opening up his door and diving out onto the ground. What a Dummy. I suppose he thought the ringing crossing bell mesnt stop and have lunch and a couple of cold ones !!

  • it could have stalled, it happens people

  • what a joke

  • Train wins !

  • FUCKING STOOPID AMERICANS!

Why dont one of them do something good for the world, such as shooting dead george 'wanker with too much power' Bush

  • surreal00real is jealous of americans, people all over the world do dumb shit, fuck you bitch!

  • Americans are fat, pollution emmiting, dirty, gay hating people!

    get lost!

  • ow,and you are just the perfect human!!what would be the world without you??

  • just because ur gay, ur mad at us.

    LOOSER!

  • Fuck you, you brit fuck. Without us you would be speaking German now.

  • OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY OBESITY fatty americans XDDDD

  • hhow did that person get there truck lisence..

  • what a fucking idot

  • trust me i woulda got outta the way

  • thats cool!

  • what a dum shit

  • i heard it was a female driving the big rig.

  • stupid motherfucker endangers everyone else around

  • AMSLAM!!!!!

  • Hazmatrubber is 100% correct. This is a design-induced error. Yes, the truck driver is at fault too, but there is no excuse for not interconnecting the traffic light with the crossing light. What a lousy job by the city! Imagine the result if that were a gas truck! Stupid design!

  • That is the most retarded intersection I have ever seen. No way would I put ALL the blame on the truck driver. The f*cktards that designed that are, well, f*cktards...

  • Yes, the truck driver was stupid for pulling up to the intersection before knowing she could clear the tracks. But when traffic signals are located this close to a railway track, they should be interconnected with the railway signals so a green light is given to clear traffic between the tracks and the intersection. You can see the stoplight is still red as the train collides with the truck. If this isnt changed its just a matter of time until the next collision.

  • Just pull up to the crossing and not try to fit in the space between the railroad tracks and the signal light. No brainer.

  • Man, fugg dat... I'm a truck driver.. in fact, I haul gasoline & diesel fuel... I would've been leaning on my air horn and pulling thru the intersection... red light, green light, black light... Nuns & blind children could've been crossing the street... and I'd have ran over them before I let my truck get hit by a TRAIN!!! sigh... I dunno what that truck driver was thynking...

  • I have the feeling he wasn't....

  • iu love this video and am glad no one got hurt

  • The engineer is always the first one they send for a drug test. They should test these truck driver to see

if they are competent to enough to be one the road.

  • dont send a woman to do a Mans job!

  • got to feel sorry for the train engineers.. seeing something like that in the way of the trains path has to be a bad feeling.. I bet the girl in the semi was thinking "oh crap, look at my make-up!!! Those camras are gonna catch EVERYTHING!" while the husbond was getting devorice papers filed :D

  • that was lucky, and stupid. wasn't able to get out of the train's path? flashing lights and arm lowering means train coming. and everyone knows you never stop on train tracks.

  • women drivers

  • the trailer smashed to bits but the cab stayed fine!

  • LMFAO @ frexican

  • hey look, there goes the other shipments of the PS3

  • it was stuck at a red light. the driver didnt have enough sense to pull forward, and the DOT didnt have enough sense to do something about such a bad intersection...

  • The first time I saw this video, I was shocked to see the gate get bent and curled out of shape like that! The truck driver deserved what she got!

  • bad link!!!! in video!!

  • like paper!!!
