Wow, both great bikes in their time, especially the MV, an exotic bike in my view. The mention of MV Augusta brings back memories of watching Giacomo Agostini racing them at Brands Hatch in Kent and at Spa in Belgium. On one occasion I can remember seeing him, Bill Ivy and Phil Read on Yamahas and Mike Hailwood on the Honda all came around together, I can still hear the sound, fantastic. When I watch your guitar playing I will see you in a different light now.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, great memories. My dad used to take me to the Isle of Man every year for the TT races and Mike the Bike and Ago were two of my childhood heroes. There is nothing like the sound of an MV Agusta or Honda 4-cylinder wailing like a banshee around the mountain circuit.

Thank you. I agree that the sound is much better than on version 1 even though the equipment is the same. Having good gear does not necessarily guarantee the best Shadows sound, as there are many other variables.

My comment was cut off. I wanted to say someday I would like to have your setup. Keep up the good work and thanks for posting. I play a lot of The Ventures songs because they were popular here in the 60's and I am glad I was recently introduced to the Shadows music.

Hi from Los Angeles James, great performance. I can play Wonderful Land and The Savage well now. When I have some time I will learn Peace Pipe and Dream On. Are you using the same Echo set up as Wonderful Land? I was able to get a nice Echo with the Ampkit App on my IPad with the Vox amp App included in the Ampkit. For the price it does a good job I play the Ampkit my red strat through my Fender Deluxe Reverb and I use two Ampkit Echo boxes to get the Shadow sound. Someday I would like t
