Well i went to Hammersmith last night, and had the time of my life, To say David Coverdale is sexy is an understatement, he is fabulous, the voice is amazing and the body well ..... no words can describe........

I loved every single second of the gig, got loads of wonderful photos and came home with one of Brian Tichy's drumsticks, to say i'm on a high doesn't even begin to explain how it feels to see one of your heroes in the flesh. Come back soon Whitesnake i have withdrawl symptoms already

Reb Beach & Doug Aldrich are very respectable guitar players......but something is missing in Whitesnake's magic. The missing person is Adrian Vanderberg. He is somehow the only person who can define "that" magic. There were a lot of good guitarists in WS, but the only one who reached the essence is definetly Adrian Vanderberg. Respect Adrian !

@Voyager77Le Actually that would be John Sykes, who wrote some of Whitesnake's most famous songs including this one. Sykes was replaced with Vandenberg right when the 1987 came out, so he's not a big deal. Of course I'm not saying that Vandenberg is bad player :)

Adrian was approached to join WS before Sykes, but he declined the invitation due to his own's band (Vandenberg) succes in the early 80's. All the statements of Coverdale led to my point that Adrian is the best co-songwriter and member of WS.

@Voyager77Le I got the point, but I still think it's due to the 1987 album, because when that album came ,that whole WS lineup ,that was right after the coming of the 1987 album, quickly became legendary and I know that feeling ,because for a long time I thought it was Vandenberg ,who had written songs on that album. He got his vibe there ,because he had arrived at the right moment. Still, I love his work with WS, Restless Heart is one of my favourite WS albums.

I just read an article in GuitarWorld magazine on Doug Aldrich. Says that his guitars are all tuned down one whole step. I didn't think Whitesnake songs were tuned that low. I thought maybe a half-step at the most.

I've noticed that all of the tunes from this concert is play at least 1/2 step down. Probably because Coverdale isn't getting any younger. He still sounds great but when you get older, it's hard to keep the same vocal range you had 20 or 30 years earlier....and it's especially true with a range like Coverdale's.

Saying all that, this is still THE BEST lineup I've seen. Coverdale blew the roof of this place.
