etonks is right. The unending breeding of our domesticated animal friends has caused a sad sad situation for us, the ones who care so deeply for them. Please spay/nueter your animals. we love them, but too much of a good thing causes euthanasia for perfectly wonderful animals. It is heart breaking. I feed at least 30 cats all the time, and it is difficult financially. I cannot afford veteranarian care for them, but I do my best. I love them.

oh, and i forgot to mention: she had 5 kittens as well and 4 of them were boys and (also) one of the boys was black. :) the girl was calico, but her colours were lighter, yellow/grey. the others were grey with white. check out my video "love cats" and you'll see some pics of them at the end. ;)

Not really, but it depends on where you live. Some places can do it for free or at a very low cost. But some owners are very concerned about how it can effect hormone levels and possibly lead to health problems. Many say that neutered/spayed cats and dogs are healthier, but many many still get all kinds of cancers and such. Plus, I've met many unneutered cats and dogs, and they are much more vigorous and lean compared to "fixed" cats, and the dogs are rather old and still active.

Bath tubs are the purr-fect play pens for kittens! They can't climb out!

But seriously, Spay and Neuter your cats and dogs. Too many little cats and kittens (tens of millions!) are killed each year because there's no home for them. You may found homes for these babies but it's a ripple effect. For some other kittens did not find a home. It is a world wide problem and it's so. so sad. It breaks my heart :(
