He's consentrating too much on singing those tricky little improvisations, rather than singing the notes in tune.

Well it could be that, but most bands play songs faster when they play live, purely because of the adrenaline and buzz you get when you're on stage! You get (naturally)more nervous and excited, so you play everything a bit faster and don't really realise. I went to see Bowling for Soup and they played punk rock 101 proably twice as fast as the record lol.

But who cares? This is beautiful. Patrick's gorgeous and so's his voice...
