  • Is that Hilly Michaels on drums?????

  • Y'all should wiki Dan Hartman and read his bio - RIP Dan!

  • That is GE Smith on bass.

  • the only thing i can say is wtf clad vinnie got over that shit quick

  • i just became less manly from watching this....thank god i have motorhead to bring me back to my oldself

  • Just fucking yuck

  • nobody in their right mind should be this happy playing a song as gay as this one. what the hell where you thinking vinnie?

  • This reminds me of videos where you get the boppy yessum black guys. This is the yessum gay guys.

  • Haha how different it is to see Vinnie like this!!! Amazing what changes were made and how he evolved. :)

  • Dan is the man!

  • VINNIE IS A BIG ARTIST AND A GENIOUS HE´S BIGGER THAN KISS !!!!! WE LOVE YOU VINCENT .......

  • @ElvisVlad you are delusional my friend.

  • @necramoniumdotc0m Vinnie saved KISS in 82, 83 and 1992... Creatures of the night album, Lick It Up Album and Revange Album Man !!!!! He´s a Fucking GENIOUS>>>>>

  • @ElvisVlad Sure, he is a great guitarplayer and songwriter, but if he was a GENIUS (thats how you spell it), than he would not have his head up his ass and kept suing Gene and Paul about old song from decades ago and actually made new ones. He is self destructive, its also the reason why he got kicked of his label when he was in VVI.

  • @necramoniumdotc0m Yes ! He is self destructive but he´s a RockStar

  • after seeing this i think vinnie was secretly gay until he joined kiss.

  • Look at the girl playing the guitar!! Wait, that Vinnie!!

  • Cocaine is one helluva drug...............

  • The bass player is also the drummer of Iron Maiden. Just kidding. In this video (on bass) is G. E. Smith. He's one of the more visible or recognizable Saturday Night Live (former) band leaders.

  • @jaydavee - wow, I was thinking to myself, the bassist kinda looks like G.E. Smith from old SNL. Thanks for confirming.

  • Vinnie looks like a cross between Mckinsey Phillips and Don Knotts...DAMN!...THAT WOULD BE ONE UGLY BABY!...and here he is!!!..Vinnie Vincent....Yikes!

  • That's future SNL bandleader G.E. Smith on bass!

  • If it weren't for this we wouldn't have had The Muppet Show. Trailblazers. All of them.

  • i dont believe vinnie played this kind of music!

  • @USAF2409 Get used to it. It was all fake. By the late 70s whatever band or group was being formed, the musicians conformed to make hit music. It was a return to the 50s. Even Steven Tyler did background vocals to hit songs back in the 60s. He played it straight until making it big as a waste in the 70s.

  • Vinnie lost a lot of cred after his lackluster performance with Kiss. Then his ridiculously over-the-top solo project was just narcisstistic bufoonery. But after witnessing this...well unbelievably embarrassing video, I do believe Vinnie's credibility rating is now sporting a negative number.

  • LOL Yes, VVI was a BITTTTT different than this. But, truth spoken nonetheless!!!

  • Where is the version where they went straight from instant replay into this track , it was classy !

  • Richard Simmons thinks this is GAY!!

  • Geez, what's with all the hate on this video? Love this song and Dan Hartman is awesome. The video for This is It and Instant Replay is great, it looks like they're just having a blast up there! Anyone hating on here should really get the fuck off the comments section and go watch something else!

  • @BalooRJ People hate it because it is gay. I guess you are the only one who doesn't hate it.

  • @BalooRJ Vinnie's fans are afraid of their hidden need to ride Gene's tongue - just as he did.

  • This is one of the gayest things I have ever seen.

  • Wasn't this song written for a tampon commercial?

  • this is gay.

  • Comment removed

  • They could have at least had guitar chords coming out of the guitar and bass guitar to TRY and make it look real.. what a joke... lol

  • G.E. Smith on Bass

  • damn it ¡¡¡¡¡ i didn´t know vinnie was part of the patridge family ,hell ¡¡¡¡

  • The Phantom's Revenge ^_^

  • I never realized just how many gays gay bands there were even back then. Maybe most of the gays were just not coming out of the closet back then.

  • Just think, after all of the takes and the editing for the video, at some point those four watched this final product and said, "Damn, that's our finest work! What a catchy song and God, we look great! I can't wait until this is aired everywhere!"

  • RIP Dan Hartman...

  • w000o0o0t??, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, thats vinnie!!! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

  • Weakest shit music ever......

KISS only built themselves on wearing MAKEUP and HIGH HEELS ! ! ! later haters!

  • gene got jealous that vinnie upstaged him on skill. vinnie doesn't have to paint his face and spit up FAKE blood to sell tickets.

  • i went from a Vinnie fan to a Gene Simmons fan so thanks for firing Vinnie Gene

  • OMG...!! FROM THIS TO LICK IT UP???

  • Vinnie is such a dork.

  • I like Dan Hartman; and I like Kiss/Vinnie Vincent. Just not together

  • I am a huge Vinnie fan.....but this has to be the gayest thing that I ever saw related to VInnie! I could have gone without seeing that....for real. That was gay!

  • @celticattack Dan HArtman (lead singer/keys) was gay. No, Seriously! I thought that when I saw the video 25 years ago

  • i was vinnies biggest fan until i saw this. excuse me while i die

  • ummm... is that GE Smith on the Bass?

  • In 1987 I saw Vinnie Vincent Invasion in concert. It was slightly different than this.

  • @tk848 I saw Vinnie Vincent Invasion around that time too. In Atlanta at the Omni, they were openers of Iron Maiden's Somewhere In Time tour.

  • @jaydavee That's the same tour I saw them on.

  • @tk848 hahahaha. i bet so. thats funny shit.

  • Kiss!! Ft, Dan Hartman

  • horrible pop at its best(or is it worst) how could they finish taping this, watch it back, and go.........................."yeah, we look great" its weird that vinnie is known for his guitar playing & this shit song has no guitar.......i cant stop laughing

  • vinny got with bob brock after this great thing! so did steve via johnnywinterand tina turner! free ride! dan is my hard rocker and all arround good vibe dude multi talent

  • it looks a bit claustrophobic and frantic. good song though.

  • I thought Dan was great as well as the album, you had Instant Replay ,Count Down and This is It. I saw Dan perform with Lolita Holloway back in 1979 at the Paradise Garage. R.I.P, Dan

  • This engenders happiness...it can not be bad if it does.

  • Very upbeat with positive energy. These guys are fun-loving patriots. They are true heroes.

Anybody who thinks this is gay is a freedom-hating Muslim.

  • @NBLP7096 fuck you american

  • @mattmanmkb fuck you zeally

  • @NBLP7096

  • This song is not to be confused with Michael Jackson's song "This is it".

  • vinni vincent looks like some kind of freak

  • Vinnie's checking out the outro solo on keys thinking: "Man, I should be the one to shred on this!"

  • Can anyone tell me a bit about the band `Treasure` that Vinne made ansd album with in 1977!?! I need an answar fast as possible. Please! Thanks!! :) Peace

  • @ole9872 It's been a year since you posted this comment so I don't know if this comment will be at all useful to you but here I go anyway:

The album Vinnie did with Treasure is on youtube if you simply look up "Vinnie Vincent treasure". It's actually not that different than this only marginally less gay sounding. The solos he plays on it are really melodic and out of character for Vinnie as well.

Also, he sings lead on it too.

  • ooo-ooo! ooo-ooo! Yeah Yeah Disco Vinnie! Yeah! Vinnie's got it all together now! With his very on Disco clothes Hey! His shirt's half-open t'show ya his chain! And the spoon for up his nose! Vinnie's really something! That's what I really say! So smoke your little smoke and drink your little drink! As we dance the night awaaayaaayyyya! Vinnie's a disco foo-woo-woo-woo-wooll!

  • vinnie looks like a 15year old boy

    few years later with kiss

    heavier than hell !!!!!!!!!

when see this you can´t belive it :-))))))

  • This is F---ING HILARIOUS!!!!!

  • Dan was a talented musician-yeah the song is cheesy but the guy can sing-also he was a great rock bassist (Edgar Winter)...RIP Dan....

  • totally cheesy! and not in a good way

  • Was that Will Lee from David Letterman on bass? Either way cocaine is a helluva drug. And Vinnie does look like Janet off Threes company.

  • not will lee, but g.e. smith from saturday night live and hall and oats. blah!

  • Vinnie went on to play "Janet" on Three's Company.

  • Check out Vinnie-O with his mustach-e-o!!

    Go Go Disco Vinnie!!

Isn't that G.E. Smith on Bass?

  • Yeah its funny vinnie had the same corny moves back then

BUT Hey what were YOU doing musically in the 70's or ever look at your opics from the

70's? IF you were around then. It actually shows Vinnie got "tougher" Listen to lick it up & the first 2 Invasion Tapes.

  • Lol Vinnie the disco fag.
