whats the point of cooling them off?....

the only reason they work is because they're hot....

when you cool your hair, you set it. When its hot it has more movement, so the cool is going to stop the flexiblity...does that make any sense at all? you hair will still move but it will be less easy to have the curl or look come out.

@newbrunswicker12 I would not recommend using hot rollers with wet hair, it just won't keep the curl well. Instead I would let your hair air dry or blow dry it. Then put the hot rollers in when your hair is completely dry. There is no need to straighten your hair before, unless you have super curly hair! Hope that helps :)

Thank you for the tips- The Aveda powder is great : ) Two tutorials I would love to see is a Gretchen Rossi (Real Houswives/OC) hot roller demo as well as how to do a more contemporary pin curl- more like the type you see on a lot of Victoria's Secret models with the s wave coming down the face rather than the strictly vintage stuck to the face or more brushed out look. Not sure if my second request made sense but if it does, let's see'em. I hope you had a great time out with your friends
