Hey it took me about 10 min to get heater core out and put it back in in 15 min . took longer to go to parts store thanks again saved me lots of time . you are the man.
great job i am gonna start on my 1990 chevy suburban. i was looking for some infromation on taking the heater core out. Thanks this will save me much to time and not breaking anything....
Ugh,this is giving me flashbacks to when I had to replace the core in my 67 Chevelle.. looks pretty much the same, actually. .The A/C is a pain in the ass to work around, but worth it in the summer!
I just did my core om my 89 suburban with no a/c, it was a 100% easyer then the one you did Rick! took about 40 mins to do and that was with a beer being drank at the same time.....
hey, nice video..i just replaced my heater core today in my '82 chevy..listen, i hooked everything back up, but the air isn't blowing through fast enough..how can i fix that?
Grats! ur #4 most subscribed this week in all of Canada!!! Tough job there, much easier watching you unfuck Chevy's puzzle design. Why they thought it should be near impossible to work on, I have no idea.
Hey Rick, it would be cool to see a Chevy Dana front end axle rebuild. If i remember correctly you just finished that front end of the truck your working on in this vid? either way rock on =)
I asked if he wanted the blazer front end done and he said maybe in the spring. It needs serious bodywork and floors. Got all the rust cut out and floor had to be cut half way from the door.
thanks for making this

most likely the duct isn't connected all the way behind the ashtray, I had a pain in the ass, with that part.
RedneckRickem 3 years ago
the duct is fine, but it just isn't blowing air out, even when the fan is on high..could it be the blower motor?
BAKEMAN87 3 years ago
Check the adjustment on the cable, could be it not opening far enough.
RedneckRickem 3 years ago
Did you check the floor insulation? I had to rip the insulation out of my K5 when its heater core blew.
giberish9 3 years ago
How come, cause of the smell. It's not his daily driver, just his plow truck.
RedneckRickem 3 years ago
Just thinking about the floor pan. If its just a plow truck, I guess its fine.
giberish9 3 years ago
Redneck do you like Fords?

Chevys are the most simplest to work on, just have to work on them often. HAHAHA!!!!
RedneckRickem 3 years ago
Hey I love me some Chevys, no problem.
That heater box didn't want to come out! It fought mightily. They built the truck around it.
