amy was recognized for her effortless impact on creating phenomenal music.  Hints of Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Holiday are heard in her style and voice. A true and talented jazz singer, exhibited this effortless style. Louis Armstrong did not necessarily have an amazing voice..but we learned to think it was amazing, and love it...because it was unique and gave a flavor and emotion to the music he was singing.

@idyhot She had just finished using smack and other stuff and was recovering from her eating disorder. And how she came back. In this video you see her realy fighting and struggling. And before she died she had done some marvellous things. A song for you, Body and Soul, Our Day Will Come, Between The Cheats, Like Smoke, It's my party (with Quincy Jones).It is a pity that in the end she still lost from the little demons she allmost overcame. She did not deserve that.
