This is a great video for the complete beginner. Basic tips like how to safely remove and store oil is never covered, I guess because it's common sense, but I'm a fan of to much info over to little, It also sets a new cooks mind in the right frame to think for themselves about what is for now, a foreign subject, cooking.
People do not know where to place the oil after they cook a meal. Some might think to place the oil in something else. We have seen place suggest to dump the oil down the drain.
@wokfusion i laways tip my old oil over my neighbours driveway ,,they keep taking their cars the get them repaired and it costs them a fortune ,,its fucking hilarious when it rains one of their brats fell over last week and broke her ankle i pissed myself laughing when i heard ,,,they have put their house up for sale and are moving but i wil do the same at the new house ,,i love torturing these motherfuckas
YOUR CHINESE..AND THERES NO SUCH THING AS MONGOLIAN BEEF.....UR MAKING CHINESE FOOD BITCH..!!! MONGOLIAN BEEF DOES NOT EXIST...SO QUIT MAKING SHITtt UP!!!
So what if he has a chinese accent? I'm from Bosnia, born in denmark, And i love chinese people, huge respect for' em. They're very spiritual people, and they're all believers. So why complain about their accent, when the english is perfectable understandable? Please don't be so primitive. I thank god for destroying racism, though it will always be there because of cunts.
I've always envied Chinese style wok cooking. They cook fast and they make fantastic noodles/rice sticks recipes. I've tasted food all over from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Chinese expertise in cooking noodles is unprecedented.
Ok, Chinese Mongolian beef is not really what Mongolians eat. That being said, it is a dish inspired by Mongolian culture. Cut him some slack, will you?
I don't know. If I want to make Mongolian Beef, I would want to know how they really made it. So far all the videos I've seen featured an Anglo version of the recipe.
that's right man.. think big.. there is a great big world outside of America with a rich diversity of food. I find chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and apple pie ok for a day. Then it gets boring. I would rather have more refined European and Asian food than some peasant food which is good now and then
You can use multiple types of oils in Chinese cooking such as vegetable, peanut, and olive oil. Each of these have different consistency and thickness which allows you to cook your meals quickly.
where do I buy rice sticks from? we had an oriental store that got torn down. i'm wondering , does wall-mart or any other convenient store have these?
I don't think that Walmart sells rice sticks. You may have to go to Asian or Chinese grocery or food store to get this. You may need to go to large city or town that has an Asian community. Try a other Asian stores like Indian, Thai, Japanese grocery stores as well.
no problem man. I found them at Wal-Mart. Heck I even bought Hoisen Sauce and Won Ton wraps at walmart. i made some really mean Crab Rangoon they tasted and looked amazing! it was so simple.. and ALTHOUGH iM NOT making mongolian chicken yet cuz I dunno how I friend some rice sticks and they puffed up lol it was fun

You can use multiple types of oils in Chinese cooking such as vegetable, peanut, and olive oil. Each of these have different consistency and thickness which allows you to cook your meals quickly.

uh? what this is all about? why upload a half cooked stuff...?
Pitinginatay 3 years ago
It's just a preview of the dish. I can only show a portion of the video since YouTube limits that amount of time to be used on video.
wokfusion 3 years ago
alright... thanks... hmmm can you make the cooking more concise so that we could see the whole procedure
Pitinginatay 3 years ago
Video limit is 10 minutes, this video is only 5 minutes? Plus if the whole recipe is longer just upload into parts like 1-2-3-4.

Yes, you can actually use a cooking thermometer to test what temperature your oil is at.
