  • why doesn't the forces use these?

  • how long do the last. can they be buried completely.can they be used in conjunction with earthship building plans

  • Um - does it come with concrete windows ?

  • genius

  • where can I buy this?

  • @happyfacejpg they should have made it smaller first ... like for sheds or wine sellers.... then the military would have taken notice. not to say that they didn't.. i think i could make one cheaper without needing to be inflated. kind of like a "picnic canopy tent" pull it apart, cement cloth top with 3 cement cloth walls, make 1 side a door. spray it down with water, let it harden. punch a small vent hole in top, place a rain shield over that. smoke some pot , eat food and fuck

  • @veminvested "hey should have made it smaller first ... like for sheds or wine sellers.... then the military would have taken notice."

When dealing with residential, what you forget is PERMITS.

This is an excellent way to build an underground living space for anybody, and it's probably relatively inexpensive and very durable, which is why no local government would allow it.

  • i bet the inventor plays too much Command and Comquer

  • $20 to $30 thousand. Depending on size....Pffffftt

  • Great homeless shelter!

    Say NO to War!

  • Impressive…

Designed at 1st for the military and / or emergency situations.

Then again, what smart people will make of it ?…

    great idea !…

  • I'd buy one if it came with a creamy nougat filling.

"Crunchy on the outside, yummy on the inside!"

  • Looks like a neat idea, but only a 10 year life span kinda suck's. Just wonder how much it cost.

  • They show it being covered with dirt...It doesn't seem like it would be strong enough to do that....I can't get to the web-site, Does anyone know of a supplier in the U.S.? I think it's a GREAT idea! No forms, no wet concrete, no steel,.... so what about the fan? It wouldn't have to be as big as you think. The fork lift was just a convience, not mandatory. there are endless ways to transport. I want one. I want a bunch of them.

  • How do I carry the fork lift into remote locations?

  • This will be brilliant for Military Engineers, International Aid agencies and any Medical organisation. Pretty impressive.

  • I agree w JaxxBat!! Always

  • There are cheaper ways to build one of these

  • Shut up and take my money!!

  • There is almost always more ways than one to get a mission accomplished... biggest questions are safety, life, timing, location (environment), & stability long and or short term.

  • If in a hurry just import the water required with the concrete tent to begin with. Then fine tune water sources. Those with a pocket book & or know how could also import equipment to extract water moisture from the air just like in Dune movie. Of course over all for stable structures i would personally opt for eco domes.

  • Man Vs Wild Bear Grylls & Cody & Dave of Dual Survival technique for tracking down water sources such areas. Water source not required to be clean for set up. Parabolic mirror & pressure cooker (or pot) can easily make potable water. // Pro dowsers can locate aquafers or other underground water source. Good dowsers can find spots from tuning in & pointin on a map from other side of world. Viktor Shauberger in comprehend & copy nature discusses basic techniques water lifecycle + terraforming.

  • How much does it cost? and is it worth it for the average Joe if it only lasts Up to 10 years? Great idea though!

  • I could hide from my ex in one of those.

  • Thought we were way overbuilt already with empty homes all over the place. Where you going to put this thing, in the backyard of a home you already own?

  • If they fit an airlock to it this would make great lunar shelters for establishing a lunar base. Of course you would probably want to use solar power (along with the battery backup for the two weeks of no sun).

(or just drag out a ZPM!)

  • @Jimwill01 and you could send the jeep up on another space shuttle!....or you could get the orcs from dune to pull them open!

  • awesome

  • Looks like an idea to stay in while building a log home. When done, you would have a storage place for ten years. Interesting.

  • What about areas where is rains all the time? Dry areas, lack of water... guess you could order the soldiers or ask the farmers to pass urine on it.

  • @charukrsnadasa god u r smart!! in a "dry" area u can't build one of these.its impossible.however if enough farmers(in a dry area?)can piss on it.well theres your solution!!herp-derp!

    wait a minute.

    farmers in a dry area???

    piss?doesn't that require water??

    again,"charuksnadasa" herp! derp!

    ogadeboogade....boo!

    T.........A..............R...........D!!!

  • @SHARKREEF2011 YES i did say dry area not hard core ragin deserts. GOJI grows even at 125f temeratures. Millet rich in B17, hemp, dates also grow in dry conditions. I am well aware of people terraforming even deserts to feed vast populations highly nutritious foods. This or ecodomes for hard core shelter or storage use. YERTS are best for most use & GHENGIS KHAN FAV.

  • @charukrsnadasa good point, but if solders or farmers can urinate, that means they have acess to water right?

  • How Much is it ?

  • A nucear bomb will f*ck this sh*t up. lol

  • Well this could mess up the construction/building permits and laws...

  • but wait there's more, order now and receive a blow up toilet and 12 piece steak knife set, but wait theres more, be 1 of the first 200 callers and you will also receive this handy blender which works by just adding water and it inflates to cut and dice anything!

  • old technology. you'd be surprised at what you're government is hiding from you.

  • Nice!

  • 50 grand? i'll stick with a shipping container

  • Wait, there doesn't seem to be any breathing holes in this "plastic lined" shelter....Are they requiring the front door to be open?

  • this could cure the housing crisis in the uk , and anywhere :)

  • @MR1QUEST That would be nice but I seriously doubt they're free! Id like to have one for the back yard!

  • But.. Will it blend?

  • I wondered that too...lol. Very cool though...!

  • would these shelters be a safe harbour for bush fire prone people? Does the shelter come with life support?

  • as much as i would love one, they are just too damn expensive.

  • the cost has to be under 3000 $ ---is it ???

  • @mrjim2211

    2,500

  • @mrjim2211 we wish.

  • @mrjim2211 lol no they're like 50 grand

  • concrete doesnt "dry" when it cures, instead its a chemical reaction.

Generally keeping concrete damp for longer makes harder concrete without cracks.

  • Good to know in case of a zombie apochalypse!

  • I think this pretty cool myself.I might add some kind of frame on the inside if i was gonna add some dirt or snow on it ?I think this could be used as a bunker or made into a root cellar.

  • If it cures when hydrated, can it be deployed as a tent in rain/wet weather?

  • @f38stingray I guess it could if the rained and not for days on end and i think the fan would have to be on while its curing?

  • @f38stingray Standard building concrete will cure underwater. So unless there is something very odd about this thing I cant see why it would not cure in the rain mate.

  • @tina6581 I initially thought that with rain, the shelter might begin to cure before it could be adequately deployed. After looking it over, I see the plastic lining is air-tight enough to get it inflated even if the concrete is saturated or starting to cure. Thanks for the reply!

  • Let's set some of these up on WALL STREET

  • @cobrompton might have helped against the tear gas, i bet they are NBC shielded too, so the tear gas would have been kept out too, just need oxygen tanks inside lol, they seem to have no ventilation. but the police would probably just smother you..... fucking bastards. probably put something heavy on the outside so you can open the doors and just let you suffocate.

  • @MUJUNKY no, it would take two weeks to run out of air. you could dig out

  • wow, maybe i should just move out of my house and get me one of those! but no running water?? LOL

  • for the zombie apocalypse ?

  • This will be very useful for refugees who have automobiles, an electrical grid, and running water.

  • HOW DO I GET AN ERECTION FAN?

  • pretty sick

  • But is it Zombie-safe?

  • @shumped lmao

  • @shumped Yes. Yes, it is.

  • @shumped I totally thought that before I read your comment! Looks like people are already prepping for the apocalypse

  • @shumped this literally made me lol

  • DO WANT DO WANT

  • this can revolutionize trailerpark homes

  • lol, try to set up that tent when it's rainy

  • was kost das zeuch ??? geilomatice ..da hätten mal Bartels und Feldhoff drauf kommen können oO

  • This is a fantastic innovation, I'm assuming shipping 100 of these is easier than shipping 100 old prefab shelters. Protective, fireproof and i'm also assuming waterproof. Hope to see this in 10 years when it transfers down to the civilian world, buying your own concrete canvas shed from B&Q!

  • Rome was built in a day!

  • A cement impregnated fabric?

Did you really have to use that word?

  • @xLuky Cement?

  • just air, water, a fork lift, powered fans, water hoses...

    Good idea though

  • BUT ITS RAINING I CANT SET IT UP, BECAUSE IT SOLIDIFIES BEFORE ITS ERECT

  • It's so simple! Why hasn't anyone thought of this before!? :D

  • @testtube173 This would never be used for homelessness. These things are probably WICKED expensive. There are much cheaper options

  • Shut up and take my money. I'm going to bury it underground with a couch, xbox, and a tv. I'm going to smoke so weed and never come out.

  • @WildWe5 "I'm going to smoke so weed and never come out." What are you at? I'm guessing a [5].

  • @WildWe5 maybe a generator and shit. but fuck me, im not a scientist. and maybe some speakers or a stove or whatever.

  • Would like to see this implemented in the states as means for the homeless.

  • Definitely gonna come in handy during the zombie apocalypse.

  • @gavnastyyy My thoughts exactly.

  • lol who watches this video and dislikes ?? for what reason?

  • hotbox!!!

  • @Skajulian hell yeah bro

  • My only thought was that this will be the best option for post-apocalyptic shelters.

  • fund the shit out of this

  • Oh, .........hey bob, its facing the wrong way mate, can you turn it around ?

  • Deployed in 2 hours with 2 people! Not ready until 24 hours later though.

  • @applebottomjames Well, actually I think it is ready since the inflation of it. The hardening of the concrete finishes 24 hours later. It would be nice to find out if opening the shelter before it dries will affect it.

  • @UltimatePilot1 He had to slice the plastic at the opening, it seems to me like the concrete fabric is connected to the plastic so when the plastic is inflated it pulls the fabric up. Opening before it's ready would deflate the plastic and if not hardened would cause it to collapse.

  • How much do these cost?

  • Wow I saw these guys on the show The Dragons Den or something like that. The investors were interested but these guys didn't wanna give away that much of their company.

  • shutttup and take my money!

  • Comment removed

  • @MonkeyKing2378 after you spray it with water it turns into concrete, so no

  • @MonkeyKing2378 honestly you can't come to a conclusion on your own?

  • Fantastic. Can you use seawater instead of fresh water?

  • @Lyphatma yes actually, just read it on the brochure! :D

  • @Lyphatma I would assume you can. It would suck if you had to use your drinking water to build your shelter.

  • 2200.00 not 30,000.00

  • why can't our incompetent military leadership put this use??

  • @beechfuzz They do. Some camps in Iraq have quite a few of them.

  • for 30 k id want the fork lift as well

  • SWEET,,, now i really really want one...

  • 0:34 How building have sex

  • @MrMurray744 what the fuck are you talking about?!

  • I was interested until I saw the price tag of 30K! I'd rather build me a cabin for less. Also, it's only 4mm thick. I'm sure with a good engineer or handyman, you could probably build it for less.

  • yea but how do you take it down if you need to move somewhere else?

  • @thehalfcapsofficial ...That is completely opposite of the point....

  • Comment removed

  • They could use these on the moon for illegal aliens in need of shelter.

  • @locouk But......THERES NO WATER ON THE MOON

  • @TheCrazedMadman THERES ALSO NO FORKLIFTS

  • @TheCrazedMadman Yes there is. :D

  • awesome. now we have protection against zombies ;D

  • Thumbs up if you got here via Stumble!! :-)

  • @bassielwd nobody gives a flying fuck.

  • what happens if you don't have water?

  • @bobloblawloblaw You better start spittin...

  • I found one for 30k dollars. Fuck that.

  • Comment removed

  • How much, and do you ship to the US?

  • This bunker are REALLY effective against hordes of zombies?

  • Let the zombies get out!

  • Stumbleupon sent me here :P

  • Dodger Sent Me!!! :D

  • If a zombie invasion ever happens, I'm totally using one of these.

  • I want to have a storm shelter I live in a trailer and it is not a safe place to be when storms are here. I have had my back broken by a tornado when I was trucking I really want to have a stronger structure.

  • Or you can mix up more cement cover the shelter with chicken wire and some rebar and cote the hardened shelter with additional concrete then it will las over 500 years.

  • @cdltpx Obviously that defeats the purpose.

  • @cdltpx That estimate was well-calculated.

  • gonna buy this one for 2012

  • FUCK THAT!!! Gimme some capsule homes, like in DBZ then we'll talk lol

  • Two words: Fucking Rain.

  • can you connect them to make a doublle canvas?

  • Yes, I definitely need protection from small arms fire.

  • BUT will it blend??

  • ah but will it blend?

  • yes but why are they advertising, on youtbe ??? who wants to go camping and have to get a bulldozer just to pack up at the weekend ??????

  • This is a fucking great idea

  • well i guess there will be a true fallout 3 after all, but instead of vaults we will us concrete shelters.

  • @spartan187100 No they'll have vaults but these are for the people that can't afford them

  • good luck moving that bitch into the sunny spot closer to the camp fire

  • Who needs houses anymore? I'll just set up one of these badboys in the middle of a field one day, and when the council comes along and tells me to move it, I'll just be all "lol. no."

  • @HamHatter No, I'm pretty sure you would say "You and what army" xD.

  • would like to see them packing it back up again

  • boobies!

  • @TheNicoGiovanni It takes 24hrs to harden, and I would wager, it needs to dry.

  • Fuck military application, why aren't people living in these?

  • @Bibbly53 electricity?

  • @heroclixman1 Not hard to run a cord, or insulate a chimney dude.

  • The zombies...will never get me...

  • why was this in my recommendations ?

  • i will stay in this until skyrim comes out

  • i wanna live in one

  • one problem with this is the whole necessity for water... that might be a an issue during a hellish apocalypse... but if you use it for noncrazy people reasons then it should be fine

  • @TheNintendonerd1986 I don't recall him telling anyone to actually come here.

  • @HamHatter SHUT THE FUCK UP :P :D

  • @TheNintendonerd1986 Rude. *Cry*
