You need to beat the Ice Cavern. Go past the King (Who you call the Princess). Hop along the ice blocks and go through the entrance to the cavern. When you beat the cavern, make sure you put Blue Fire in an Empty Bottle so that you can thaw out the King by emptying it near the red ice that he's trapped in. Not only can you now talk to him, but he'll also give you the Zora Tunic which you need for the next dungeon.

You can save yourself quite a bit of time by useing the teleport songs to get to biggeron and lake hylia

@trampolini40 Yes. you need to complete the Forest and Fire Temples and the Ice Cavern (but not the Water Temple). Get blue fire and melt King Zora and youre ready!

It's actually easier and faster to use a magic bean in front of Dodongo's cavern. It will take you up the mountain a bit and saves you about 30 seconds or more!

@VAST56 Yes! Only difference is that sword breaks!!! The two swords are Giants knife and Biggorron sword.

Giants knife=needs to be repiared after hitting something 5-10 times.

Biggorron sword= a little stronger and never breaks! Dont loose a limb with your new sword!!!

plant the been plants as a kid and they grow by the time you are grown. I actually got the big gorran sward before even the forest temple. Some people wait till after the water temple so they have the long shot but I can kill those stupid spiders leading to big gorran with the hookshot so it's not necessary.

After you get eyeball frog at zora´s domain, you can reach lake hylia faster, using the shortcut between zora´s river and lost woods, leaving to kokiri forest and hyrule field. You can get there faster

If you go from lake hylia and use thel ost woods short cut to the goron city it'll cut your time in half. I had a minute to spare :) It also helps with going from zora's domain, too. I had a bit of time left so it does save you time :) link doesn't roll as fast for pc i think.

The biggoron sword is un - purchasable, as it takes a long quest to acquire such an amazing sword.

WOOOO GO EPONA GO!!! AND HUGE TIMESAVER: as young link plant magic beans at the mouth of dogogoes cavern. then jump on it ride it up the trail and jump off at the entrance to the gorons. do into the fire temple via door behind the lead gorons house and make yor way up to the top of the mountain from inside. saves about 1 minute.

easy : you need the blue flame thing from the fairies, go to where jabu jabu was as adult link, and across the river ( should be all snowy) there is a cave. Run inside in teh first room you have to collect all the silver rupies... it's prety easy :P.
