  • a very different interpretation, very interesting and quite consistent. Congratulations.

  • @ibk1980

You are so kind!!! Thank you by heart.

  • Appreciate your sharing this! You seem so engrossed, so fully submerged in the flow of the song. I love the intensity and emotion of your rendition!

  • @riverspeed

You are really kind, thank you.

    And proud of your attention.

  • wonderful! ^^

  • thank you much!

  • @uhartchristian

    really kind, thank you!!

  • I am not kind, i just like to say what i feel and see and I prefer the truth.... It is very rare to meet a real musician, you are one of these interesting persons to meet....

and it does not matter if you get a professional concertpianist with lots of succes or if you prefer to do something else to earn your money.

what is a pleasure to see is that you play with your heart and with conviction. a whole lifestyle also is behind.

you also have a strong voluntee.

  • @uhartchristian

What generous words!! thank you much....

and the voluntee in never enough.

    Thank you by heart.

    P.S.

and you are right 100%, this transcription must be played more fluently.

  • That was beautiful.

  • Thank you!!!

  • You look like you are having a great time; thanks for sharing! I think people worry too much about the composers' personal lives. Does it matter if Bach was christian or not--I don't think so. Sister Wendy Beckett talks about how one's reaction to art is what is important, not what one is expected to think or what one learns about the artist. I think this applies to music. Bach created this beautiful piece, and now we can all take away something different and great from it.

  • Thank you for so kind and generous words.

  • Has a little Gould in em.

  • Your videos are wonderful as is your technique. Bravo, I would pay well to attend your concerts. May I ask what model of piano you play?

  • Thank you, you are really kind. I'm not a pro pianist, I do another work. The piano is a "Rieger Kloss" (the same as "Bohemia" pianos, model "Janacek".

Czech made pianos, not very well refined

but I like the sound, especially for the basses.

  • Thank you for the response. The sound of the Rieger Kloss is quite nice. My dream is to play one of your Faziolis someday.

Keep up the good work- its a pleasure for us to hear you play.

  • Ola sandro, cuanto mas veo tus videos más

    me gustan.

Feliz Navidad y prospero año nuevo.

Desearía poder verte algún día en directo.

    Cordiales saludos.

  • Hallo Ms sandro beautiful!!!!! many thanks

  • Beautiful is your kindness. Thank you by heart and all best,

    Sandro

  • MAGNIFIC.

  • Super, super, super musical playing! I gave up playing tennis (doubles) a few years ago! Now I am into dancerobics, chess, bridge and Go! This is such a beautiful performance - great work by the transcriber Ignaz Friedman! This performance has really made my morning! it is 6.41 and I've been YouTubing since 4 a.m. This would upset my highly trained team of doctors so best not tell them, eh? Doctors, now don't get me started on Doctors!!!

  • Hi! I too played bridge!! I was classified here in Italy. Brilliant bidder (I knew and played lots of systems, and my favourite was Standard America), ridicolous when playing cards.....eheh. I've now no time, but bridge is fantastic.

  • Thank you much, happy you liked.

Very fascinating the Petri version, but let's remember that this is a "Hunt Cantata", not liturgic or sacre music, and I find the Friedman version more respectful of this fact.

  • If that's what you perceived, there's no doubt you are not Catholic or Christian. And the fact is that Bach did not have youtube to confirm HE WAS A CHRISTIAN who dedicated his art to God and the beauty of God's blessing.

  • I perceived only the simple truth this is

(not in my opnion, but in the reality of Bach works) a "hunt cantata", celebrating the joys of the hunt. Sorry for you if you don't like this, but sometimes also fanatics as you could accept the simpre reality. Bye.

  • Actually, Giovanni Sebastiano was Lutheran

  • The funny aspect is that all the pro pianists here play the Petri version, which is more intimate and "private", and I as an amateur

play this version that is more a concert

    version....

Thank you musicusblau for your kind words.

  • Very musically playing of this very nice arrangement, which is really inspiring. High quality as usual, Sandro!
