Tricking is a martial arts, however it is mostly not applicable to self defense.

You realize they've taken martial arts before hand right? Yeah, tricking can't help, but their other training that they've done can.

as for what you guys are talkin about,yea you may not be able to use tricking in a real fight,doesnt mean it doesnt help. With ticking comes good twitch muscle and self aware of your surroundings,thus help making you fast and have good AGILITY.These things are KEY in hleping you punch and kick paster with more power in perportion to the size of your body, wich is what bruce lee talks about
