Can someone help me get past the freeze when I hit new game on Final Fantasy 8 and 9? I got 7 to work but 8 and 9 freeze right before the first movie.
Because dingoo is cheaper than both devices you said. Iphone has crappy touch controls, dingoo has all emulators I need with Tv-Out, battery life 8 hours and it´s smaller than a PSP. Do you want more? It can be a PS3Freedom device.

@Suar23 Its funny because I can get any rom I want without a computer on my iphone....i can use a ps3 or wii controller for a controller. And a psp and iphone can both play more games at a better quality rating as the dingoo. Look up ashens review of the Dingoo and it really shows how bad it is. I can play every console created up to the ps1 and have full speed on every game. A dingoo is a 50$ Chinese piece of crap. (the Chinese part should explain the quality right off)

On the other hand mame4iphone has considerably good controllers for a multitouch device. Sometimes I really miss buttons, but perhaps a custom skin controller could do the work...

Hey i have an Iphone 4 and the psx4all emulator and i tried playing this game FFVIII but when i reach the world map its just pitch black but when i open the menu it shows the map.

It's Console and yes it plays lots of PlayStation games. However you can't play it with sound cause it lags. It's not worth the download and install in my opinion when you can play segacd and all the other consoles with sound at a reasonable speed. The Dingoo just can't handle a PlayStation at full capacity or they just haven't figured it out yet. I hope for the latter.
i just heard of this Dingoo gadget, and i wonder if it really runs PSX and PS2 games! I saw some videos of Street Fighter running in the PS2 emulator, but i wonder if some 3d games run as well...aperently, even PS1runs slow with sound! Can anyone confirm if it does indeed runs PSX/PS2 games, or it is just for show!
@raphmagaldi I don't think it runs PS2 games, but you can run some PSX games with some slowdown (and 2 missing trigger buttons). But sadly, at the moment there isn't any sound. This problem *may* be fixed in the future, but don't get your hopes up. Analog stick games won't work at all.
So that means you lose you other saves - its not really save states then - a save state is where you start the game exactly where you left of in the game - but I will give it a go - ePSXe does both just a diff format to psx4all...mmm

Is true that its not exactly a savestate, is a saved game in a virtual memory card, but you dont have to lose your saves, you can manage virtual memcards and copy individual blocks to any virtual memcard with software like PSXMEMTOOL or just load the saved game and then make a savestate in psx4all menu.

Yes, you have to copy the ePSXe memcard file (it must be renamed to mcd001.mcr) to your psx4all folder, then just launch the game and choose continue in main menu.

You must activate "Set Null GPU" option and change Cycle M. to "7". Bios is default bios, 1001. This game crashes on intro then you need Load a saved state from ePSXe

@dmbfan404 You need a ePSXe virtual memory card with a saved game. Copy that memory card to your psx4all folder and load your saved game.

I think the major problem here are the graphics pugins and sound pugins. If it is customizable it would be fix the graphics slowdown and no sounds

There´s a sound with sound but it does not work properly and it´s slower that non-sounded version.
