this is a good doccumentary! my exhibit made it to district for DISD and im excited for it (it's this saturday) . mines about the debate over offshore drilling. :)

I used the information in your video for a project they gave me at school :) My father has relatives in Argentina, but he has lost contacts with them. Il tuo italiano va bene, devi solo migliorare le preposizioni che sono l'unica cosa che hai sbagliato (ma stai tranquillo che anche tanti italiani madrelingua le sbagliano).
angelina masciari' s accent is very similar to one of my girlfriend that is from Basilicata. I think she might be from Campania or Basilicata. se capisci l'italiano volevo dire che hai fatto un gran bel video! complimenti!
grazie, sono contento che ti piaccia...ed penso che hai raggione degli accenti perche Angelina Masciari (la mia nonna) è di Calabria, vicino a Basilicata
Wow, this is a really good documentary. There was a lot of information in it, and you had a good use of an interview. I was in NHD this year. Check out my video! I need some feedback
la cosa nostra does not come from american dumbass try sicily witch it has been around for a long time luciano started turning the mob into a money making industry instead of just taxes and protection pretty much went from a form of government to a business.
that's true, but that is not what im arguing, im saying that the irish gave italians in boston more to fight against, encouraging more radical gangs, such as the mafia.
What a good documentary, I heard about the time when the Italians arrived they seem to angered the Irish community of Boston alot more than the "WASPs". How did the Germans, Poles & Jews of all nationalities felt about Italians in the late 19th/early 20th century? The Greeks, Portuguese, Armenians & French Canadians also settled in Boston at the time, another part of the immigrant experience. Despite Italians held on living in the North End, it's now a gentrified & diverse neighborhood.+
where can I find the speach that Rocco Brindisi, honorary Consul in Boston did at the Synphonic Hall in Boston in defense of Sacco and Vanzetti around 1927?
i dont know, lol, i guess the people that judged us were irish ;D and we stated that irish were against the italians lol, nahhh just kidding, im not sure why...
Wow, thats ironic (the Irish thing). Our coach for my area doing NHD is Scottish, and I believe she is a judge this year, like previous years! She is pretty nice though... Maybe the video did not do too well because the video was really close to 10:00 minutes, or becuase you said 'uh' in the videos. IDK, I am just guessing. Those judges can be pretty strict...
yeah probably, also u can see our NHD from last year in my profile, Cambodian Genocide. That is the first version, the real version is much better and with a proper intro. But check out the first version and see the interviews.
How did you do on the Cambodian Genocide? Me and my partner have emailed Yoko Ono aksing her for questions on John Lennon and all of his good crap! I guess that can count as an interview... I like your Cambodian Genocide one by the way! Good job! :-)
I think your video is great!! Our theme is Individuals: Actions and Legacies. We are doing John Lennon. Its pretty bad that your video did not even make it to district. This is my first time participating in History Day, so wish me luck!!
im digging this video! my names Katelyn, kinda feelin bored if any1 wants to join me on cam or wana chat i will be signed on at __ FriendlyFlirts(.COM) __ my user ID there is Katelyn_kjjzx chat soon xx its FR33 to j0in! mwah

@90klop Native Americans, definitely not immigrants. Yet African Americans are still immigrants. Even though the vast majority of African Americans was brought over as slaves, many also came by own will.
This was good. We are learning about immigrants in school, and it's like the only thing I find interesting. Italian immigration esspecially, like Little Italy in NYC. Maybe it's all that Godfather stuff getting to my head...
yea but guess were all italians went to people ARGENTINA ...there are more italians in Argentina than in the United States...and Argentina has the highest concentration of italian people in the world...CIAO
Pellagra e malaria where tipical issues of southern Italy, wich Mussolini tried to solve by land reclaimations(quite successfully). BTW, the old man doing a speech at 2:38, what's his name? Matteo(like me) or Dante Alighieri(like the poet)?

America was found by an Italian explorer named Amerigo Vespucci in the 1500. So you could say America is part of Italy.
