  • I find Biomechanics interesting, Gymnastics artistic, I have a lot of respect for gymnasts and their conduct around the gymnasium. I used to coach this. When I read most of the comments here, by gymnasts I just find it a massive chavtastic letdown.

  • being a former gymnast and having the ability to do this i must say this has EVERYTHING TO DO WITH STRENGTH! a lot of it is in the shoulders, if you cannot hold your shoulders past your wrists you physically cannot do this skill. this is the same strength you need to cast to a handstand on the uneven bars. if your shoulders do not go past the bar you will not go to a handstand. there is alot of physics to it but the physics require strength.

  • This is strength balance and control. People who say it has nothing to do with strength are wrong. And pre gaming you think that because she doesnt have arms bent at 90 degrees that it doesn't take much energy. Come back when you can do a full planche (arms straight ) then tell us it ain't about strength. You bench press wont help you much. You need full

    body strength to do these skills you fool

  • @PreGamingTV Actually every time she does this she lifts up about 55-75 percent of her body weight. That has EVERYTHING to do with strength. Like everyone else said, get your facts straight before you run your mouth.

Its like the speed that you get while rolling gets to energy which easily helps you to get to this position again. and as you see she isnt golding her arms in a 90 degree which means, that there is not that much energy needed. the weight pushes on her elbow.     so i get my flexebility from breakdance and my strenght from bodybuilding and i can do this and i exercise alot !! I want to do multiple planches now but i can only do 3 or 4.

    i can also do V-sit into handstand

    L-sit then into V-sit then into handstand

    when i was at her i age i could do 40 push ups i workout since i am a little kid and i was very flexible back then and i still am

    so compared she has an advantage over me i can that cause of alot of training and exercise she can do that cause she is young and has some muscles or do you see a huge biceps triceps at her ??

And just because you cant't see the muscles in her arms does not mean that isn't strong. How much the muscles show is very individual and has nothing to do with strenght. The biggest bodybuilder are far from the strongest guys in the world, even though they look the strongest. If you ever watch a strong man competition, many of them look fat.

  • The training is very hard it takes great dedication. My daughter is 7 years old and in the UK and she does those as part of her conditioning. The determination the girls in her elite squad have amazes me, they never give up and she even does her conditioning on her 2 days off of training and does her chins etc in the morning before school on her bar. There is no pushing she does it herself. Its great to see other girls are the same.
