Okay, so this may sound a little dumb, is it the water -52 or the air? From the video, it surely looks like the water is freezing cold, so i don't doubt the water is actually -52, I just don't fully understand the idea that it's hot spring, but it's not hot? If it's a hot spring, how can it be so cold? Anyway, if it's cold water, do why does this guy do it every day? I mean what he gets out of it? It's just fun or? @ThSheep Hot spring means that it's hot (mineral) water coming from very deep in the earth. So it's always hot no matter how cold the weather is. That's why while everything is frozen this pool is not (if it was ordinary water it would have had thick ice) and there is steam coming from the water. It might be cooler on the surface but it's not less than 0 degrees cuz it would have ice all over.
