Wait, I made a mistake in my previouis comment, the guy who was being burned wasnt Sylar, it was that other shapeshifter, because if you saw the last episode, Nathan (actually sylar) paused when angela asked him to go for lunch, then he went to his clock and stared at it then said that It was running 3 min's and 5 secs fast, then he tilted the long hand then went out like nothing happened

Another way he could come back is that he seems to have a natural resistance to other people's powers (eg Eric Doyle, Sylar not only was able to break Eric Doyles mental grip but was also able to knock him out just with his mind.) so maybe the effects of Matt Parkman will wear off quite quickly.

His main abillity is seeing how things work, eventually he will work out that he isn't aging, he has more powers than he should have as nathan and he can gain memories from things by touching them.

I think Sylar will come back, believe me. Because you saw guys the Sneak Peek when Nathan (Sylar) was watching the clock, he remember something but he really can't find the answer what really is that clock. BELIEVE ME, something will happen with Nathan.

I think for a major portion of next series, Sylar genuinely believes he is Sylar but his subconcious will be trying to tell him the truth; probably through bad dreams and looking in the mirror and such. Eventually there'll be an epic moment when they think everythings alright and he'll shapeshift before their eyes.

i was intrigued by the last episode...i am new to heroes this season but my friends have brought me up to speed...the whole "why not use claires blood" came to mind but also 2 more questions...what did they do with nathans body and who were they burning at the "funeral"? i dont really have an idea about the next story line but those are some things to consider, at least i think so...

Why they don't use Claire's blood I don't know either.... but maybe it don't work at deleted memorys... but there just the writers know why they don't do it and this sucks!!

They actually didn't show what they did to Nathan's body.... maybe just buried him....

The Sylar body that got burned was from this person who had the ability to shape shift. He was Sylar when he get killed and he stayed like this

Nathan/Sylar will remember who he really is and hide it for a while (he probably figured it out during the 6 weeks absent ) they'll bring back nathan with claires blood and there will be another show down against sylar and whoever .

Also I wonder If peter has sylar's hunger now that he has all of sylars power ?

You know what is going to happen next season right, I can see it now. He begins discovering all of the powers he had stolen one by one, and he's going to be very pissed off. First person he's going to go to is Mrs. Petrelli. He's gonna be like, mom, what's going on. Then she will reveal he isn' t the real Nathan, that he's really Sylar. And he's gonna be like NOOO, and kill everyone...it's a possibility, I was exaggerating a little bit. It would be cool to see though.

...i've been wandering.. if peter finds out that nathens dead don't think that he will do that thing where he'll take claires blood and put it in a pouch that gives him blood so he can regenerate? you know how like that other regenerator did with nathen when he was badly burned? or is it to late since he already dead?

This opened up a huge plot hole on what they could have done. They could have done what they did in season 2 with Adam's blood, by injecting Nathan with it, healing him. Or like what they did with Noah in season 2, he was dead (shot in the face), but was injected with Claire's blood, bringing him back to life. But that would mean no more Sylar, so I guess they did it this way to keep all of the major characters on the show

I doubt Sylar is gone because if you saw the last episode you could see that his fascination with clocks is still there and that means his hunger for power is there as well. I have no doubt that Sylar will return and so as long as there is a clock ticking in the world Sylar will never die.

there is no way he will keep playing Nathan.. he has the ability to absorb memories from people and objects.. eventually he will touch something that brings it all back. They already set that up in the teaser for Volume 5.

So how do they kill him off? Angela doesn't want it to happen because she wants Nathan to be alive, but even worse he is a public figure & invincible - it's not like they can just hire a Lee Harvey Oswald to assassinate him, because he would just heal in front of everyone.

This actually helps out Quinto so he can focus on his Spock (Star Trek) role. They'll probably bring back Zachary maybe near the end of the Redemption Season. Ali Larter looks like she is coming back as Tracy Stauss with water powers or maybe another sister because there were triplets (Niki, Tracy, and Barbara). You never know where they might go with Larter's character.

have you noticed that they always "almost" kills sylar in the end of every volume? In volume 1 Hiro killed him, in volume 2 he had that virus, in volume 3 Claire killed him, and now in 4 he's someone else.. this sucks. Tim Kring, stop killing my Sylar!
