In Exodus 15:1-19 I wonder if they were professional singers. II Chronicles 20:20-22 I wonder if they were professional singers or not too. Wonder how many years of music school they attended. In Psalms is says 100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands. Keep singing for the Lord. Let Him be the judge of your singing not man.
Dear Friend... I like your love for old songs.... but please take some lessons... you dont sound any differen than any other achayan out there... you could have done better on this song... Just becasue you can sing in deep voice does not make you even close to making you a singer...
@MultiSoulofmusic : Thanks for the feed back. Noted. The focus was never on meant to be me. The intention was just to proclaim God's love - the lyrics to be of significance and the singer to fade in the background. If God can use a crow to get bread for Elijah, i will be glad if he uses this 'crowing singer' to touch one soul.
@jpurayidam Good Answer and I like it. But Eshwaran is not looking for your half best. You can do better... I know... you are a good musician...Give him the best you have.... God didnt create a crow in you but a man in you... in God's image... never compare yourself to a creation beneth you.... God has given you a talent.. sharpen it... that is when you really Glorify God....I like you becasue of your love for songs...and you are a good musician...
@MultiSoulofmusic For a retired professional of 50 years old the ability to understand a simile is jarring. The crow was a simile to emphasis that even the lowliest of us can be used for the glory of God. It wasn't literally compare myself to creature beneath me. ha ha. You take things too literal and have missed the meaning just as you have missed the meaning behind my rendition. Appreciate your efforts in convincing me to sing better.
@MultiSoulofmusic .... But i have given my best to my God- wish i had the training in music to do better. If it weren't what i thought was my best, i wouldn't have put myself out there on youtube to be judged by professionals like you on the voice and not the effort. You may wish to change the Chanel or tune into more better singing professionals if my voice gyrates your nerves. The choice brother, is entirely yours. If i have touched once person, that's enough for me.
Hi John, that was very bold and apt reply. Yeah taking some lessons may better you as a singer, but the comment was so rude. I agree about the Achayan style and attitude of some pretentious singers, but you did well. I particularly loved the Kanunnu Njaan song.
Kudos to Lester and Jen for the amazing melody and lyrics to this song. One would think that gone are the days of meaningful lyrics and touching tunes. Johns, as usual, you have lend your soul to the rendition and that uplifts the melody to the extraordinary. Soulful singing is your forte.

Johns, nice singing...I cant comment on the technical aspects of your singing, as I am not a musician,,,and I am not here to do that...
