@wildfast88 It's 'cause Tony GAVE him that race. Tony could've easily ran Kyle down and beat him, but nooooo.... He let Kyle sweep the road courses that year. I hated Kyle after the Coke Zero 400.
This was bullshit, Jeff Gordon spun in the same exact turn here 3 years in a row. Hope it don't happen this time. Jeff's supposed to be the road course king!
And I agree! He's the REAL road course king! ESPN sucks, hands down! They have NO RIGHT to broadcast our races, and they jinx everything on everybody's mind!!
man for some reason i didnt even watch one race in 08 and im trying to catch up with these videos man imissed alot but 2009 is awsome so far in nascar.
What the hell guys? In 2008 at sonoma infineon raceway Kyle Busch has won the race and Jeff Gordon was the guy who finished 3rd. Stop talking bulshit, Kyle won both RoadCourse events that year, I even remember when the commentators said something like "He's the RoadCourse King"....
Robby Gordon hit him from behind and he actually made a great save and kept driving. It was a bad race for him though. Big disappointment for his Gordon fan! Looking for better things this year! : )
dover i missed it, i was at a track banquet, thats what my friend told me, hes a tony stewart fan btw. he used raeview. infineon when carl was running down johnson he was much faster than anyone including KB. but when carl was in back and KB was up front KB was faster so that couldave been close. chicago possibly, but possibly not. and you trying to prove me wrong just by stating what i've seen (yes i know it was rather biased) is somewhat ignorant as well. but forget about it now, lets not...
Yes, both road courses. He got the 3rd at Sonoma by luck. He did not have a competitive car for one... and he struggled with the handling all day. After they wrecked in front of him, he took those positions. Remember? Please review that video.. Even though it's a 3rd, it's the the 3rd place we usually see from Jeff Gordon at road courses (which by the way he is the king of)
I was there yesterday, and I made fun of Busch by doing his little celebration. I had a whole bunch laughing. Kyle Busch is a fucking loser. I don't care what reply you have to me.
He got screwed out of his ride at Hendrick and you know what they say, success is the ultimate revenge. I'd say he's gotten plenty of revenge this year don't you think?
I had no problem with the richmond incident. Sure I was mad but that was just Saturday Night Racing at it's best. Both were at fault. You gotta think some dont Hate him. The guys got skill. But I don't consider putting him in my Top 10.
Whoohoo Ambrose, ya doing Australia proud Mate. We miss him in the V8's but really happy he is starting to make in roads now. Makes all the early mornings watching NASCAR worth it.. Go Aussie go!!!!
Is that why he swept the road courses? Is that why he won at Talladega and Daytona? Is that why he won Atlanta, Darlington, Dover and Chicago? Is that why he has a 240pt lead? Kyle Busch rules!!!!!! And people who hate him are blind to talent.
Busch is lucky. ALOT of stuff he would have got owned at Talladega and Daytona, they were about to pass him and a caution comes out. Chicago Jimmie didn't go in time. Atlanta, Carl Edwards, by FAR the best car in the field, loses his engine. He does have talent, if he didn't he wouldn't be racing in the Sprint Cup Series. But a lot of those wins were chance, that he didn't deserve, but he still would have finished good.
Well not really. He had the best car at Daytona and could've won Talladega even if Stewart hadn't wrecked. On the last restart at Chicago, Jimmie's car wasn't good enough to hold him off. He might have been able to challenge Edwards at Atlanta. He had the best car at Dover, Darlington, Watkins Glenn and Infineon. But hell, it's all a bunch of would've, could've, should've anyway. As a huge fan I'll take them any way they come, you know what I mean?
yeah, Talladega, Montoya was gonna pass him in on the backstretch and he kind of pushed Jimmie out of the way with 5 to go. Daytona, Carl was giving him a run for his money, and Atlanta, I'm pretty sure Carl would have smoked everyone. Dover and Darlington he was the best car, but the road courses, him getting the pole from the rain helped ALOT, and Sonoma he had a good strategy and a good car. And Chicago, Jimmie didn't go.
Ya, you got a good point. I'm just really enjoying it no matter what. I was actually in the infield at Daytona when he won so that was pretty cool to see.
Yeah. Im glad you're not one of the bitchy whiny Busch fans. I mean I don't like Busch as much as I used to when he was on Hendrick (I like all Hendrick drivers but Johnsons my fav) and he crash Junior I was really mad at him, but I'm starting to cool down just a bit. Kyle has talent but he's also from Vegas lol. Got some extra Luck on his side.
thats your perspective, i have trackpass raceview, i can tell who has fastest or best car. Daytona, dont matter, its daytona lol. edwards had preferred groove. talladega, i missed it, just went by what my friend said, chicago, carl edwards was checking out, until his splitter broke, had fastest car by about 2.5 tenths. dover, edwards best car all day, bad pit stop and traffic, so cant tell, kyle even said that carl had best car, darlington, yes, glen yes, infinion, idk, edwards was
fastest until that bad yellow. and ok, atlanta, dude no one was even close, carl was beating kyle by about 0.70 a lap before his motor let go, i've never seen a car that fast compared to the rest of the field before, that was his race to loose, on one was challegning him... well kyle's season is over, well see what happens, he should win another one, maybe 2. biffle will cool off (maybe?)
I don't think Kyle's season is over by any stretch. In 2004, Johnson was farther into the chase and even farther back in the points than Kyle is now, and look at the comeback he made. Johnson was also in Kyle's position in 2006 and he still won the title. I'm not overly confident, but I still have hope.
man im glad they have double file restarts now

If I was driving the 21 car in the situation Marcos Ambros was in, I probably would've bumped Tony, then try to chase down Kyle.
