@ joeyhallmusic1987: I'm your same age, going on 24 myself. I grew up on this too. Weekday mornings w/ waffles. it got me to sit still long enough to eat. It was either that or sailor moon. loved both. :) never thought i'd look back and actually recognize a voice actor though, or at least it sounds a LOT like her. I'm pretty sure it's her though. she's real distinct. That's cool, & I always liked Gaia.

I like all the subconscious messages in this show too. Villains pollute, are ugly, deformed, sounds terrible, are unfit and always lose. Good guys are smart, attractive, fit, talk nicely and always win......

@kenruneck Yes that all may be well and good...... but then you have the problem of a show becoming redundant, bland and boring; which takes out the element of suspense for the viewer leaving them with little or no expectation in continuing to the watch the show.

Captain Planet was part of my childhood. I wish Time Warner and Captain Planet Foundation will make a deal to release this clasic on DVD.

@spikeriley I highly doubt there will be a release of Captain Planet on DVD, because there is no demand (or for other reasons usually involving money) unlike other shows such as Transformers, GI Joe and others far too numerous to mention. I was floored when I saw a DVD release of the 1st season of Exo Squad because I was acting on the above assertion. If a DVD release of Captain Planet were to happen, but rather unlikely, it would probably be Manufacture-on-Demand.
