Deep bone bruises HAVE to heal, or else you get cartilage and bone tissue that regenerate wrongly. They can dig into your muscles and cause severe damage. I've seen it ruin two college football players career's- it's not wussy to take care of yourself.

One thing I've learned while riding, sometimes the falls that LOOK really gnarly are the ones that don't hurt much.

And then there are the falls that don't look so bad but you end up busting your knees or breaking a bone

On every fall you have a big chance of getting severely injured, big or small. Its really just the luck of the draw if you can get up and walk away in one piece. When you are putting all your effort into busting huge falling is the last thing on your mind till the last second when you actually are.

@hampTV The fall was only bad because of the whiplash to her head. You can have a crash that looks brutal, but the person is fine because they took the impact with their core, but any hard hit to the head, even if it looks stupid and silly, and knock you out cold, or give you a concussion. She hit her head HARD this time.
