I think this is meant to be an animated comic not a animation series. Super big difference. if you ever had to hand draw or ink anything like this it would apparent.

Although it may be premature, the animation displayed in this trailer is pretty poor. It looks like they used Adobe After Effects to make static images move from A to B; there aren't many scenes in which multiple frames are used. Admittedly a web series is unlikely to have a big budget, but even so, I've only studied animation for a year and already I'd happily do something better for less money. It's disappointing because I'm a big fan of Dexter as a series and as a character.

If the animation were a little more lively, like that of 'Waltz With Bashir' (watch if you havent yet, its an incredible movie) it could really bring Early Cuts to the standard set by the show.
