Postal Service Priority Mail, Don't waste your money

@PilotRussia Now that's wild. I bought some Russian tubes for my amplifier, and they were here in no time time at all. (Actually, about 10 days for the tubes, and I was okay with that, being they were coming from Russia). But in the Untied States, you pay a lot extra for priority mail. The rule used to be 2 to 3 days for priority. Now, just use regular mail, because the post office doesn't care. Now Priority is the same time as regular mail. So why pay more? the Post office sucks.

Seriously my movie came in the mail from my sister that was first class and, she lives in nyc n i live in chicago but, my system which was priority mail which is in PA still isn't here yet and, they both were shipped out on the 1st. With UPS you'll actually get your things on time people.

@XxRAINISM Yes, Priority Mail is a joke... I agree. I don't ever use it any longer. When I found out that there are no guarantees using Priority, I thought, what's the point. Just send it the cheapest way. I hate the word cheapest, but with the post office, it doesn't matter which way you send it. It still goes Pony Express.

(and usually... even Media Mail).... will all still get your mail there at the same time. Sometimes it takes a plane... other times... it's still Pony Depress.

I send anything that qualifies by Media Mail. About $4.00 for a good size box.

Totally use Media Mail when I can. There have been a lot of times that the Media Mail items get there BEFORE things I've sent Priority or First Class. I just sent something yesterday and used Media Mail. The postal clerk was acting like they send it via Argentina and would take forever, and may not arrive safely. I told him I'd take my chances. Talk about a high-pressure sales pitch. May not arrive safely ?? Well, maybe if you step on the box, maybe not !!

Well thing is buying online from the states-these options aren't available. But, I had to share this with you in my moments of absolute fury..... WELL.... The parcel finally arrived in Australia and a courier has delivered my parcel to the wrong person! I now have to wait an extra 7 days for an investigation. Honestly, are monkeys delivering our mail or something?!?!? I don't know!?!?!

Monkeys !!! That is too funny. Sadly, more truth to that than you know. Also sadly, I can believe they delivered your package to the wrong person. I'm starting to think these idiots can't read. I remember some years back I bought a CD recorder online. I waited FOREVER for it to arrive. My address was 1271. They delivered it to 1217. By the time I tracked it down MYSELF, (I spotted a box outside the neighbors house, walked up, and sure as hell, it was for me). (See next comment).

Why YouTube only lets us type 495 characters is beyond me? Anyway, the woman down the street thought the box may be a BOMB. Can you believe it? So she left my CD recorder out in the rain for a week. Needless to say, it was ruined. I had a fit over this. I did, however, get reimbursed for the purchase, but I swear to God, people are freakin' idiots. A bomb ?? And she never called "the authorities" ?? Are people this stupid where you live?

Im having a MASSIVE ISSUE with USPS. I ordered two parcels online from Canada, I live in Australia. One package that I ordered on the 15 December arrived on the 24th December, even though I paid for international express, and it was shipped to China by mistake? I don't understand. My address is on the package, and China gets my parcel? My first order on the 10th, still has not arrived! Im getting angry because it was an expensive order over $500. I swear to god, I hope its not lost.

Wow, and I thought for sure this was just a problem in the Untied States. Guess not. One thing to keep in mind, as was pointed out by a legit post master here in the U.S. Even though you pay for EXPRESS mail, that doesn't work or apply from country to country. Hell, it barely works in your own country. (Hence, my video). That's why I said, save the cash and take the cheapest way possible. As for insuring packages, that is almost impossible to collect the money on and takes forever to collect.

@thelazycomic Well i just checked today, and my parcel finally cleared through Australian customs. After I got two emails from USPS saying that they can't track down my item!!!! It has been over a month, and I paid for international express. I will never do that again!!!!

You may want to try United Parcel Service, (UPS), next time. They are more expensive, but they are now global, so a package never leaves THEIR system. Tracking with them is always a breeze. Using the regular post office is a joke. They get more expensive and give less service. What's next ? Back to the pony express days ??

I been working for the post office for the past 7 years..the reason why priority mail.. is being delayed..i see it all the time especially during the holidays.cuzz of lazy fucking fat fucks..who dont wanna do shit...seriously people are listening to music dancing instead of doing there job.. playing dominoes..eating pork rinds during work hours wat kind of shit is that?.this has to fucking stop..this is just ridiculous!!

you need to use a priority mail flat rate box or envelope to ship priority mail. it looks like you got duped into thinking it was sent priority mail but the sender used regular or first class mail to ship your item.

And to think, postal rates go up again on Monday because the post office is soooooo deserving of more money flow for their shitty service. They cry about folks who pay their bills online. When the greedy pigs at USPS keep raising prices, but service gets worse, why in the hell would you pay for it, when you can pay bills online for essentially... NOTHING!! WAKE UP USPS.
