Before you make an comments read the whole post pleas...Is it possible to put an SRT 4 exhaust on a 1st gen neon... I plan on buying an SRT 4 engine within the next year and swaping the 2.0 out... The reason I'm doing this is because I have heard the 1st gen neon has a great weight advantage to the SRT 4... (just doesn't look as cool)

Sorry, but a DUAL exhaust on a NA 4 cyl is a terrible idea. The exhaust sounds sexy as hell on the SRT4 but you lost horsepower + torque by adding that exhaust.

SRT-4 has more hp and weighs slighlty more. Assuming you guys can drive halfway decently and the srt-4 driver doesnt weigh 400 lbs it should have beat the rsx. I am assuming it was a type s. now if its a regular rsx the srt-4 would have blown past it.

I consider it quick since it will run 12s on DRs or slicks. plus I get 33 mpg and can carry me and my friends comfortably with plenty of room for luggage. What does your cammed GTO run?

youll run 13s with streets on and 13s are slow. a stock 5.7 ls1 can run 12s with DRs on and theyre slow. i run low 12s with streets and high 11s with slicks.

If you really want to see something fast, I guess just wait until summertime when me and my best friend will be finished with our 65 Malibu. 454 bored .030 over and stoked, mech fuel injection, 13:1 CR, etc... should be around 850 hp when we are done and good for 9-10s.
