well albafika fought against a judge who's weaker than the 4 gods, and ,manigoldo had help from the pope , plus el cid has only one arm and its bleeding to death, yet he's still fighting also his own determination caused phantasos technique to fail , so i think he has more will and determination than those 2 , dont get me wrong both Albafika and Manigoldo are tough but even in the anime its said El Cid was the right choice to fight the 4 gods as no one else could have done that

@Giancarlodude en realidad los santos de bronce nunca vencieron a los dorados, las unicas veces que ganaron fue por dos razones: o los dejaron pasar (aldebaran practicamente los dejo pasar con aquello de "si me rompes el cuerno pasas") o los jodian haciendo un kamikaze, tecnica tradicional en el anime para que un debilucho pueda joder a alguien mucho mas fuerte...eso si a costa de su vida...y a saga de geminis lo jodio atena, no los de bronce, Afrodita era una marika, y Death Mask se jodio solo

@Ragmesesis You don't undertand what I was trying to say. I'm sure you know any good animator can do great animation with ANY ART STYLE they want. ART STYLE and ANIMATION are two different things. By that I mean if they had chosen to, the animators of Lost Canvas could have done the same quality of animation but by keeping the classic art style of Saint Seiya. However they decided to go for something close to Teshirogi's style, which is normal, and it's of that that I'm not a fan (her style).

@Ragmesesis However, since you compared animation I have to say the Hades Sanctuary part of the original series has nothing to envy to Lost Canvas in terms of animation.

Anyway I can only hope that for the True story of the Holy War vs Hades in the 18th century (Next Dimension), it will be done with the classic style otherwise it would be too strange, especially when Shun meets Tenma and calls him Seiya if he doesn't look like Seiya at all lol. yeah, so true is so refreshing watch this story (to be honest the hole argument that in old series that only 5 fukin bronze saints can own all was begin to bore, what was the point in get silver and gold saints if u had to wait only for 5 bronze :S) so i love lost canvas

Both animes are great...saint seiya and the lost canvas rules....different stories..anyway....dont compare this hades saga and other, remember its only a complement to the original and the two hades sagas ares great, in my opinion the lost canvas of course its better because the quality and story is based only in hades and not y all the serie....comprende amigo!!!!!!!!!!

I disagree, I find Shingo Araki's style much cooler and beautiful than the Hellsing and Naruto ripoff styles seen in this one with the tentacles of doom long hair. But I guess it's done to cater to the new anime fans. However the Lost Canvas OAV art style still is better than the horrible Episode G one.

@Ragmesesis, well you're the one saying Lost Canvas is horrible not me lol if you read my message properly I am not saying it is, I just say I find Shingo Araki's style more beautiful. You're also the one talking about animation when I'm just talking about style as a whole. But yeah when I watch Lost Canvas there are often moments when I'm feeling like watching Hellsing especially every time a character is portrayed as insanely crazy/sadistic.
