Sul bestemmione ammetto che l'ho sentito anch'io.

Oddìo la dizione di Corelli - non la voce che è smagliante - non è sicuramente delle migliori.

Difficile spiegare perchè generalmente non amo le versioni dei "tenori" di estrazione classica di queste melodie dal sapore popolare.

Tendono a mio avviso a perdere di vista il lato umano e sofferto della melodia e delle parole, in favore di un virtuosismo vocale che si perde nei suoi riccioli e nelle sue patinature.

E' per questo che preferirò sempre l'Homme del Mancha cantato da Jacques Brel piuttosto che quella eseguita da Domingo.

in minoranza , ma che c'è di più una melodia bellissima accompagnata da una voce favolosa che arrichisce il tutto, le voci semplici anche se espressive non arrivano ad entusiasmare tanto . Mi scusi Walter.

In parte sono d'accordo, anch'io preferisco un'interpretazione meno tecnica su una canzone che, partita dal popolare ma da fior di autori (un poeta e un musicista, grandi), è arrivata poi a livelli internazionali, per ciò stesso le grandi voci hanno fatto bene ad inserirla nel loro repertorio, americano sopratutto.

Posso consigliare l'ascolto della versione di Sergio Bruni? Secondo me " 'spira tanta sentimento...".

In my opinion the great tenor could have been served with a better accompaniment. This was more like a rhapsody ,,than an accompaniment to Corelli's magnificent voice. The music alone is fine but the most important thing here was the great singing of Corelli. He would have been better served with plain piano accompaniment such as in one of the Mario Lanza recordings. It is a treat to hear both of these great tenors singing this song. Others may think differently of course.

Hay quienes critican por el exceso de vibrato y a otros tenores por la falta del mismo. Palos porque boga y palos porque no boga.Una voz con el vibrato de Corelli, comparado con aquellos que no lo poseen, es como un toque de campana en comparación a un marillazo en un yunque.
