I bought every single Sega system ever since the Sega Master. Well, actually, my parents bought most of them. I bought the Dreamcast though.

But I got every SEGA system and I never regretted it ever. Not even the 32X! Because I got it for $29.99 at Toys R Us with Virtua Fighter for free. For someone that was dying for a Sega Saturn, this was a pretty awesome stop-gap solution!

the 32x was NOT supposed as a addon to be a part of the nextgen console for what manny peoples were thinking,it was a addon to show of the final powers of the genesis and mega cd.

the saturn was meant to be a nextgen console,

the real story is, that sega planned the svp chip for use in manny games,but since that would be to expensive,they decided to make a addon with the chip inside,but they decided to put a more powerfull proccesor inside and it was called the 32x,to compeat against nintendo

Lol they talk about the sound in this. 32x sound was one of the worst ever heard in a sytem. Just compare Doom on 32x with Doom on SNES.

The 32X was actually capable of much better audio, but a lot of games just used the Genesis for audio. Doom just happen to be one of those games.

@mjc2021 32X is based off of System 32 hardware. In early 1993, SEGA of Japan begin to work on two 32-bit machines "Jupiter" and "Aurora". Jupiter would be based off of System 32 and Aurora off of Model 1. SOA is not told about this project so they develop a 32-bit hybrid codenamed Mars. Jupiter was suppossed to be a vaporware system for the western market while Aurora was launched in Japan. After deciding to use Model 2, Aurora was dubbed "Saturn". Mars became 32X.

i have a sega classics cd for my ps2 but i think it has the mega drive version of v.r on it.and the car just drifts all the time its nothing like the one i had on 32x the car drives almost sideways, i think it may have been a programing issue?

i used to have the 32x and vr it had an f1 car and a stock car and something else? can some one help me find it
