  • Might be more like the side he chose was Stalin. Ignatieff became a proponent of a "political" policy which would allow rogue groups of nations to second-guess the UN Security Council to launch military attacks on sovereign nations if the Security Council decided against it. For a bit more info on this policy, called the "Responsibility to protect", google my blogspot entitled "The Holy See, UN Reform & War for World Government" at canadian-state-of-the-union.

  • what a shithead!

  • what a creepy fuck

  • Snake

  • You can clearly see his Freemason ring, it should be a 27th degree one. No wonder why he teach at Harvard

  • wow he can really talk about nothing well

  • his great grandfather instituted the MAY LAWS .... the laws that legalized KILLING JEWS in the RUSSIAN EMPIRE ....what a PROUD inheritance this PIECE OF FILTH AND GARBAGE HAS

  • what a big LOSSSSSSSEEEERRRR!!!!!!!

  • 5:43 Look at how he reacts to telling the interviewer about his father's worst nightmare. If that's not creepy I don't know what is.

  • this is the problem with liberals, they try to do impossible things

  • @justanoldman1 The CONS are definitely right-wing. Back when they were the Progressive Conservatives they were centre-right, but after the merger with the far-right Reform, Alliance and Credits (CCRAP), they are Canada's right-wing. The Liberals are centre in Canada, although they drift right/left now &then. The liberals drifted too far right after the good old Trudeau and Chretien days. "Right-wing" all over the world (especially U.S) are for SAYING they want "smaller government",

  • times really change, so people do.

Back to the old days with this old footage makes me thing:

they are governing us !!! good god they were UGLY !!! lol

  • What a pretentious self absorbed pseudo intellectual wanker.

Thanks to this ego maniacal imbecile, Harper gets a majority government.

    What a disaster.

‪Ignatieff ‬is a colossal fuck up of the first order.

  • Politics aside (and I'm NOT a Liberal , neither am I a CONservative) , I have to admit, seeing Iggy in this video from way back when...he's (or rather, was) a very good-looking guy. Absolutely gorgeous. Personally, I don't like him. I think the Liberal Party moved WAYY too much to the right after Trudeau and Chretien (I'm not a liberal, but I'd take Trudeau and Chretien over Harpy any day) ...However, I certainly did NOT like Iggy. He accelerated the Liberals rightward drift.

  • @ammarios Do you even know what left and right means?

The Liberals started their left travels with Trudeau and by the time Iggy got involved, they were so far left, they sat on top of the NDP.

The conservatives are a center, slightly left party, we do not have a right wing party in Canada although we badly need one.

Right wing would mean smaller government, fewer social programs and a balanced buget, we don't have anything like that.

  • @justanoldman1 AHAHAHA "The conservatives are a slightly left party"..clearly YOU don't know the meaning of it. That was the funniest thing I've read all day. The political spectrum is calibrated according to each country's political scene and in relation with general politics and ideologies. E.g: The U.S Democrats are referred to as the "far-left" in the states, but if they ever governed in Canada, they'd be considered solidly right-wing.

  • @justanoldman1 then trying to legislate morality. They say they want "smaller government" economically only (even though our social programs save many people's lives), but when it comes to so-called "moral issues", they want to legislate every single aspect of it to the point where they would have a policeman hired to follow you around to keep a record of who you stick your dick into (gay marriage, pot..etc). "We badly need a right wing party"..sure we do, like we need a Herpes outbreak.

  • @justanoldman1 Despite NOT being a Liberal myself, I would have been happier with a Lib gov't than Harper. 70% didn't vote right-wing. Yes, I realize that Chretien got 3 majorities with similar numbers, but at least 70% of us had gotten SOME form of a centre to left gov't with Chretien, whereas now we have a gov't that only represents a minority of the people. We need a good, economically solidly left-wing government with socially libertarian values (the NDP fits this description most so far)

  • @ammarios Once again being a loonie leftie, you have your facts all wrong.

40% voted for the conservativesw. The other 60% did not vote against them, they simply voted for other parties.

The NDP is a strong supporter of the big unions and does not give a shit about the average Canadian.

One very important fact is that the government and their programs are growing by about 6% per year and the GNP only increases about 3% per year, even a leftie should be able to figure out the can't go on.

  • ah ha, hes finished.....rise up and blow me Liberals....

  • Omg, he was so fucking hot.

  • haha I bet he regrets interviews like these now. But w/e he is like a professor at sfu or ubc now.

  • Dear 1987 Michael Ignatieff: Sometime between now and the 21st century, you're going to turn into an enormous douche. I don't know how it happens. But in the end, you're going to bring down a major Canadian institution. Also, please have someone else pick your ties. Someone whose eyes can process colour.

  • He is way to aloof for most Canadians to understand or want.

  • Sad attempt for pussy by this guy right here

  • the conservatives are the only party who can attack someone's strengths and make them look like weaknesses. it's amazing what they did to ignatieff. he is an intelligent, capable, passionate man, and they took everything about him that makes him that way and smashed it down. that's the power of attack ads, and it's pretty damn sad.

  • Win or lose, one thing's for sure:

This man inherited more than his fair share of eyebrow.

  • Man, talk about a plan backfiring. Ignatieff led the Opposition parties to force an election by finding the Conservatives in contempt of Parliament, calling them irresponsible and untrustworthy.

A month and a bit later, Harper has a majority, the NDP has decimated the Liberals and the Bloc, and Ignatieff is shopping for plane tickets.

    Karma's a bitch, ain't it?

  • @ButtersStotch7000 The Speaker found the Conservatives in contempt. He is put in place by all the parties. Harper kept repeating the lie so people like you would believe it.

  • @tonybugeja uhhhh....you mean a liberal speaker?

    Just wondering....

  • @mikefastener you are right, the last speaker did come from the Liberal party but he acts in a non partisan manner, that is his role and why he is chosen by all the parties in the Commons.

  • @tonybugeja Actually, you are wrong. The speaker is picked by all MP's--not "all parties in the Commons".

Unfortunately, we have never seen liberals act in a non partisan manner so your theory is incorrect.

Luckily, Canadians saw through this charade and showed it with their votes in the May 2nd election.

    Agreed?

  • @mikefastener Ok, I really don't see the difference in meaning between all parties and all MP's, although I admit all MP's is clearer, but so be it. I do hope things turn out well, unfortunately Mr. Harper has a tendency to say one thing and do the opposite, such as his first act in stacking the senate with people who had failed to get elected when he had complained ad nauseum about that when he was in opposition, we shall see.

  • @jamie84t I'm afraid Mr. Harper was forced into adding members to the senate due to the performance of the jackals (Iffy, Laydown and that separatist guy). Without adding fair minded Conservative members to the senate, Mr. Harper would never have a chance at getting bills passed. (Remember how many times that bills, passed by MPs were held up by liberal senators?)

Term limits are a great step and elections will require some provincial cooperations.

    Let us wait and see.

  • @mikefastener Um..Harper violated his own "term limit" idea this past election.

  • Ignatieff you arrogant clown! You foolishly thought you could walk in here, disrupt and take over our government. You failed! Looks good on you and the dirty arrogant Liberals. Now get lost and don't come back!

  • oops he forgot to mention he is Muslim as well his grandmother was a Muslim converted to Christian and the Tsar of Russia granted her the tittle of Princess. I think he deeply missing the times of the Tsar...

  • book smarts is no substitute for moxy, charisma, and sincerity

  • @blindboyharry

I think book smarts are the most important thing for a leader. Lester Pearson was book smart, and the most innovative and worldly Prime Minister we ever had.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Back to Harvard or somwhere with you, you Russian running dog!

  • Ya, right........... So thoughtful that he helped the US military create the same kind of situations in the Middle East that he didn't like in his own family's past. When are we Canadians going to get it. We need real change................ not Corporate backed Political hacks like Ignatieff and Harper.

  • This is the kind of man we need as a political leader, someone who is thoughtfull and will make decisions based on evidence, not on blind ideology of the Right or the Left.

  • @mvems you're a smart person. there aren't many of us left.

  • @mvems - Yah, sure. Haven't you seen the tape of him extolling (or pretending to extol) the American Constitution in the USA where he spent the past 30 years of his life. He's no Canadian, and if he could pretend to be, who could trust a man who could flip his "patriotic" sides like that. Moreover, on one side, he's descended from inside members of the Rhodes Secret Society for world government, which dominates the Liberals and is running the North American Union to annex Canada.

  • YUP HES A NATZI

  • Is it just me or do all canadian politicians look completely fuckin crazy?

  • Great story teller....... yup, for sure.... kind of like Aesop

  • IF HARPER GETS MAJORITY WE ARE FUCKED, THEIR ARE MORE PARTIES RUNNING FOR PRIME MINISTER THAN 3, PLUS FUCK HARPER STOP BASHING OTHER PARTIES

  • I don't like Iggy but I will certainly acknowledge he looks pretty slick here, kind of Dalton-esque.

  • Hey m51eh, paying down the debt would be good, except liberals don't do that, they give the money to their friends in quebec, where do you get $18 Million, it was $250 Million they stole in adscam, plus they "lost" $1 Billion in the HRDC boondoggle, plus they spent $1 Billion on a " $2 Million" dollar gun registry programme.....by the way, where did our debt originate, with the lovely and talented pierre trudeau, may he rest in hell....

  • pretentious much?

  • I didn't realize he was gay

  • What a blowhard. Uh, check your facts delia, paul martin was against bank mergers when cibc and bmo wanted to merge, and what is good about a government surplus, doesn't it mean they over taxed us? also, he balanced the federal budget by cutting transfer payments to the provinces, i.e. he stole from the provinces, just like the liberal party stole from us with adscam.....Harper Majority!

  • @oceta07 What is good about a government surplus? Easy, it can be used to pay down public debt. And what is the level of public debt? $561,508,081,000.00 and climbing. And please, there is no such thing as stealing from the provinces. I'm sure if the provincal leaders knew that the federal government was dipping into the provincial coffers there would be a quick trip to the Supreme Court to halt such theft. As for Adscam! Total cost, including Inquiry, $18 mil. The cost of G7/G20... 1 billion?

  • What a blowhard. Uh, check your facts delia, paul martin was against bank mergers when cibc and bmo wanted to merge, and what is good about a government surplus, doesn't it mean they over taxed us? also, he balanced the federal budget by cutting transfer payments to the provinces, i.e. he stole from the provinces, just like the liberal party stole from us with adscam.....Harper Majority!

  • So happy he'll have the time to go back and explore his roots full-time.

  • I have to say that this interview makes me laugh, we need politicians not story tellers. For a large salary i can sit down and make up some stuff to write about. But I can't do that because with the economics that Martin and Chretien left us we need at least 20 years of market oriented governments in order for economy to function properly. There is not even jobs out there for people to be hired because small businesses cant effort to hire people anymore. We need competition less regulation.

  • @Veltanschaung You are mistaking complication with intelligence, so far from this interview or his pol speaches, I haven't seen any intelligence other than following what liberals have done in the past 50 years keep on taxing. Being a great historian is a type of intelligence like saying nice words.Don't get fooled by emotionality and humanity crap. If you listen closely to his words and analyse one thing is clear, don't cut but keep on taking kill small businesses.

  • Your spelling could use some work, dude... Harverd?. watch his videos...

  • crazy - doesnt make sense

  • A very interesting, intelligent man, well-read and curious of humanity. Should be Prime Minister...

Didn't Grant write Lament for a Nation?

  • This man is full of bullshit. I don't want a leader who has his head right up his ass.

  • I think it's cool that he is an actual person. It would be nice to have a Writer as a leader.

  • So here we see through the miracle of technology what a parson we are voting for today was like 24 years ago... an intellectual and accomplished author. Where are the video's of Harper before he was a politician? I'll tell you where, they have been suppressed because they might show a flaw in our glorious leader!

When you go back to the past you never get what you expect.

  • elite puppet =(

  • Don't hassel the hoff

  • Wow. Mr handsome.

If the election was part beauty pageant, he'd win

  • @bgibb101 Check your facts. Harper is easily angered and prone to mood swings. His image and public character have been carefully constructed. There's a reason why media access is limited.

And Trudeaunomics? really? Let's go back one Liberal PM--Martin. 13 billion surplus. Regulated banks so we didn't have to bail them out- hence minimal recession. Provided 6% escalator to Healthcare CPC keeps taking credit for.

  • @delia1985 Check YOUR facts! Our Government NEVER bailed out the banks!

  • @delia1985 thanks for setting the record =)

  • @delia1985 The Liberals did themselves a dis-service by not supporting Martin 100%. Martin was a good mix of fiscal responsibility and social awareness. But, Canadians want more homosexual type leaders like Trudeau. Now, the Liberal party is gone forever.

  • Yes, he won prizes as an author. He taught at Harvard, and is looked at as an expert in international affairs, but for intellect we should look to Harper. An economist who took a surplus and turned it into a deficit, now there's an academic who is doing something, achieving tangible results!!

  • @tonybugeja well put

  • Too pompous and self absorbed. He would like to be PM cause it would further stroke and caress his ego. After this election when he loses, he will be out of the liberal party. They don't want him or need him.

  • Haha, watching old clips of the candidates is amusing.

  • Ignatieff seems like he has a lot of good values in him, which is totally the opposite of Harper who looks cold.

  • @mikefastener harper is a textbook fascist. there are other parties if you don't like ignatieff. voting in the guy who wants to get rid of medicare right before 25% of our population is about to retire (within the next 8 years) is madness.

  • Yawn - where are all the good leaders?

  • Where are all the leaders these days? It's like voting for the worst of the worst... Yikes I could not be more unimpressed with being dictated to by individuals we put in power. Not good.

  • Wow. He was boring in 1987 and he's still boring in 2011. Any interviews with Jack Layton when he had wild hair and the overgrown stache?

  • Not even in 1987 was it okay to wear a sky blue shirt with a teal green tie. Wake up, people!

  • @neoregulus777

Would have been OK with a darker suit...

  • what an intellect, I want this guy to be my prime minister, not some corporate peon who goes around singing beatles song. Isn't that ironic since harper is against every belief of John Lenon?

  • @humparepatta My goodness this guy scares me! How can someone be out of a country for 42 years and expect to run it?

    Just my thoughts.

I really think I need to switch from liberal to Mr. Harper.

  • @mikefastener better than someone without any worldly experience.

  • @GnarlGevs better than someone without any Canadian experience.

(Hope I did not embarrass you too much with such a great retort!)

  • @mikefastener no i disagree.

  • @mikefastener no i disagree.

(how ya like them apples! oh snap)

  • @GnarlGevs Oh snap is right---you look so foolish right now!

So it is better to have little or no Canadian experience to be PM!

(My superior debating skills have easily won! A talent I have had since high school, btw.)

    Thanks for the easy victory.

Maybe you can find a weaker debating opponent.

  • I don't agree with Ignatieff on everything, but I'm also in love with him. He is a wonderful example of success in life. Doing what you love, and not feeling like you have to stick to one thing for your entire life. No one's place in life is static. We can always move and come back as we please. And that I suppose is the beauty of life.

Michael Ignatieff embodies that. I look up to him and my hope is that one day he will be Prime Minister of Canada.

  • People like Harper are no match with Ignatieff, who is a thinker, writer, a celebrated intellectual and an authority on politics & governance. Canada will be lucky to have him as its PM, if people think beyond petty, US style makeover politics.

  • Comment removed

  • OMG. He sounds like a flamer.

  • Comment removed

  • Iggy is awesome. He actually has some life and vigour in him unlike Harper. Now Valerie Pringle....she is actually composed. (for her that is unusual)

  • Looks as demonic then as he does now.

  • Mike is like a completely different person here! i want THIS guy as my prime minister!

  • @ oscar35a - you are judging him today on the basis of who he was in 1987! He may well have loved himself and been a pompous ass 24 years ago, but he now knows himself much better and no longer has an ego problem in my opinion.

  • 1:07 "...Dr. Zhivago-ish..." As he tilts his long. aritocratic brow conspiratorially toward the interviewer...LMFAO!! Well, the Russians are the masters of paranoia and conspiracy, so it comes naturally to him. Oh, and couldn't he just say umbrella like the rest of Canadians as opposed to 'brolly'? What an arrogant arsehole.

  • This mans introspective, towering, narcissistic, egocentric, attitude, exuded in this video, is demonstrably, megalomaniacal.

  • The good thing about this election is Michael Ivehadenough will lose and quit and go back to the U.S. by fall. How come liberals are all doing a fliflop with their love hate of everything American.

  • What a pompous ass!!! I'm not sure if he loves anyone more than himself....

  • @oscar35a right. because the better solution to talk down to the canadian people like a 'lay man'. I didnt realize so many ppl equated intelligent with elitist.

  • He was a Harverd Professor for 5 years, The top University students from around the world pray to get in, to be a Harverd professor is a tough as it gets....Most people of his ilk want nothing to do with politics, I am honored that he has chosen to lead us. I:m still trying to figure out what he said that you would call him a pmpous ass!!

  • @hormazd11 That does not mean anything that he was teaching at Harvard. Many individuals who graduate from Harvard earn same amount of money per year as someone graduating from a regular state university, even tho many use the word Harvard to show that they know more than you. He may be a great teacher and story teller, but as politician you really need the right skills and we don't know if he has them neither we know if he has the proper experience and economic knowledge to be in e leader.

  • @oscar35a Why because he sounds educated? He seems shy to me, and soft spoken, a great story teller.

  • Man, what a fucking dweeb, then and now

  • He's got a mullet!!

  • Im waiting for the conservatives to quote the russian side quote in their next attack ad

  • This man is a great intellectual. He would make a great prime minister.

  • @vincevince801 You must live in the city. Anything but Conservative will do for u right. But u have to vote Liberal because we all know the Socialists will never be voted in as PM.

  • @vincevince801 if he is so great then why can he not convince people he is Canadian and also fit to lead the country lmao Not taht brilliant

  • @hmmmmmokay he maybe can't convince YOU because you're plugging your ears and ignoring what hes tells everyone, "i'm a proud canadian, i lived overseas for a bit, i never voted in a US election, i voted in one British election, i came back because i very much appreciate living in canada and i'm ambitious and interested in politics and i'd like to help the country". whats so wrong with any of that? i think its a positive thing that a man goes overseas and gets some experience....jeez!

  • @hmmmmmokay he's convinced ME that he's a Canadian, but unfortunately the Conservatives went out early and invested so much time and money in those attack ads on Ignatieff and unfortunately people believe him, when i found out how much he had traveled I was turned on to him as a politician. when you say he's not that brilliant i think you should be slightly ashamed. This is a highly intelligent, gifted man ur talking about! the intellectuals are the role models for society, especially youngsters

  • @Freethinker12341 ashamed? You do know he came from Russian royalty right? You do know his family came from a tonne of money right? MY brother goes to Harvard, does not take brilliance -just some money. And I do not find somebody that was 5 years ago pro torture and not is against it because he is ceasing the opportunity. I think that is unfair to lie to people who do believe him. So unfair, it is a joke. I also think you should be ashamed to think an author can run a country.

  • Listen to how he spits 'Scottish' and 'Presbyterian' out as if they are dirty words and then go on a diatribe of his obvious love of Mother Russia with saccharin dripping from each sentence. It's little wonder he is hellbent on imposing crippling restrictions on Canadian resource exploration in the North - his loyalty is to Russia and her designs on Arctic resources speaks right into his Czarist heart. Iggy the Terrible seems to be a fitting moniker for this traitorous prick!

  • @geoffck6969

Holy shit, are you for real? Us "urban-dwelling over-educated faggots"? Iggy has a "Czarist heart"? He's a globalist commie" and a "traitor"? Are you a real actual crazy person? You know, there are plenty of REAL things you could have pointed out about Iggy as a good reason to oppose him. You don't actually have to make up insane shit to do that. If I could ever live to see a day where people opposed candidates for REAL reasons instead of crazy made-up ones, I'd be a happy man...

  • @icarus313 Nothing made up here, you douchebag. Your little hero Ignatieff mentioned being a son of Russian immigrant ONLY about 8 times in the leadership debate, and even his supporters were saying he was going overboard. You can call it crazy as many times as you wish, but the fact remains he IS the descendent of White Russian imperialists, and he is DAMNED PROUD of it and never misses an opportunity to mention it. He has a sense of entitlement about him, the way aristocrats do. Not my PM!

  • @geoffck6969

Yes. He's literally going to turn Canada into Czarist Russia. Despite the fact that a parliamentary system makes that impossible. Despite every fact we know about the Liberal Party platform, and Mr. Ignatieff's personal views.

You might as well claim that he's an alien Maoist-Nazi-Anarchist from the future.

Please try to imagine yourself saying this to a crowd of historians/political scholars and then imagine how they might react. Hint: They'll probably laugh really hard.

  • @icarus313 Well first off, sophistry is not your strong point, you arrogant little wannabe. Stick to solving the world's problems and telling yourself how brilliant you are at your little coffee shop with your meterosexual buddies. Being an arrogant, self-centred, elitist aristocratic prick with a sense of entitlement does not mean he would impose a different form of government on Canada. It means he has no clue what is important to regular Canadian people, just like you. (cont'd)

  • But it's really obvious after viewing this why Iggy naturally connects with regular Canadian folk. And by regular folk I mean some little urban dwelling overeducated faggot in downtown Toronto and/or Vancouver who has shunned all the moral lessons of humanity throughout the ages because he OBVIOUSLY has 'it' figured out. Fuckwads...

  • I'm really glad I watched this video on youtube. Now I'm certain that Stephen Harper is the best man for the job of PM of Canada. I'm sure Stephen is proud of his CANADIAN heritage and is not choosing "foreign, strange, and exotic". No, Stephen is just a good ol' Canadian Boy, proud of his home and native land and Canadian flag as symbolized by the lovely Maple Leaf. I'm sure Stephen doesn't look at the flag as a "beer label". Ignatieff is a 'globalist (Commie), elitist PRICK!

  • @jayman1011975 Uh-huh...and you think that tax cutting is not going to result in service cutting?

It doesn't bother me if you don't like Ignatieff's policies or even dislike the man himself, but don't be so self-righteous when Harper was prepared to form a coalition in 2004.

  • He chose "the Russian side, the foreign side, the exotic side..." What a traitorous bastard!

  • @geoffck6969 So if you have any interest in your heritage/ancestry you are a traitor?

  • A vote for this guy is a vote for an American. Iggy has said many times that he loves America and that the USA is his home. He will say whatever he needs to in order to make people like him. Having him as a prime minister would send the wrong message to the rest of the world. It would show that Canada has very little independance from the USA. If Michael Ignatiefff won the election, it would ruin Canadas patriotic reputation internationally.

  • Canada doesn't need an author to govern the country.

  • @shmaveyea No we'd much prefer a dictator.

  • i dont think hes an arrogant elitist...i think ppl confuse him being educated with being that but i mean really? thats not the same thing.

  • @jayman1011975 Not a single shred of punctuation in your entire comment (ok, aside some parenthesis). You have the literacy of a caveman, further proving the sad state of Canada's level of sophistication of which keeps the Conservative party in business. Yee haw!

  • @liennto psst, -- parenthesEs is the plural of parenthesis; that run-on "sentence" of yours could use a colon; and "level of sophistication of which" -- what the heck is that? kudos on spelling "yee haw" right, though

  • @lukafafrenz ok ya got me!

  • if every liberal was like him i'd vote liberal but. . .

  • Video response has Comment Pending approval." This is telling!

  • Fuck! He's the man from Manimal!

  • I posted a video called say NO to Harperland ... he is involved in the battle leading up to may 2nd election (Canada)

  • I need to re-watch this video just to drown out all the stupidity I read in the comments

  • Comment removed

  • @jayman1011975 & what of the taxpayers dollars defrauded Canadians in the last election? Or the $1 million per hour on the G20? The unnegotiated contracts on fighter jets -- jets totally inappropriate for their intended use in the arcitic -- now set at $100 million each ($25 million more per plane than gov't said); up to 13 BILLION on new prisons for declining crime rates? These are childish issues for you? This is how democracy dies.

  • Ignatief looks arrogent at the age he is.

  • @jayman1011975 it's from 1987, EVERYONE looked like a clown in 1987 lol

  • @jayman1011975 so harpers homosexual

  • I like the man in this video. AND I still think he is a cat. White or black or spotted, what does it matter. It is time for a government of mice.

  • @ienvan

    Definitely a cat.

I don't think we will see a government of mice. If Canada wanted mice... well just look at what happened to Dion.

  • Homosexuals are cool.

  • Ignatiefff spent the last 30 years training in America for playing the role Prime Minister of Canada?!

    Ig, go back home now.

In the end you would only end up retiring some where down south anyway . But only after you put the finishing touches on destroying whats left of moral values, and hand Canada's people and resources over to others. (I saw the original NAFTA plan)

So get out of my country, and don't let the door (or Jack-ass) hit your pink triangle patriotic ass on the way out.

  • @Ellipser NAFTA and resource giveaways (i.e. Oil) are Conservative territory dipshit. Look up who was in office when NAFTA was orchestrated. Look up was in office for the rise of the Tar Sands and the agreement to share citizens' information with US intelligence.

  • ignatieff's a pretentious douche. he doesn't speak for me.

  • @gauguintop pretentious? no, he's just smarter than you.

  • Wow, I doubt anyone who saw this interview back then could picture this guy a politician.

  • Ignatifff is for Harper what John Kerry was to Bush. He is without a doubt another well trained, but just as useless, illuminati chosen member of elite projects. I can't believe how the media mafia tries to make these fools tools look like legit public servants for the people when most of us know they aren't. Not in the past, and especially not in today's world. Even riging our own systems so that when liberty loving America finally breaks down Canada will also be forced to fall with her.

  • @Ellipser what's this obsession with 'elitism'? you think because someone is smart and educated they're going to screw you over? wouldn't it be more likely that an uneducated moron would fuck you over because he'll make mistakes and then try to pretend it never happened? wow. people like you terrify me. you'd rather see a 16 year old boy who plays in traffic run this country than an educated man.

  • @pubeafro pube afro? low life liberal cock sucking bitch.

  • He seems much more like a pretentious asshole to me

  • I am sorry, but..... MULLET!

  • Iignatieff is an amazing writer and thinker with huge international credibility in politics, he could be an amazing leader if only he didn't buy the Liberal Machine's belief that he should dumb down to speak to Canadians, let alone hide honest reactions. More people would like him a lot better and see a better leader in him if he'd blood well just be himself!

  • @Altunivurz soooo true :)

  • @Altunivurz You are sooooo right. he will never win at harper's game. he needs to play his own. there are intelligent voters out there, they need a reason to get out and vote.

  • @VoiceOfModeration nope, people who support abortion being tax-paid just have a different opinion than you, and a different definition of what 'freedom' is. moron.

  • @pubeafro They are infringing on the freedom of those who disagree about when life begins. This respect and "choice" has to go both ways. watch?v=egkpaTeuFBQ
