In my opinion, your comments are balanced. But,you don't know what would have happened if UK, Germany or Italy had faced Greece. But you can replace those potent teams with the likes of France, Czech Republic, Spain and Portugal. Fans of all these countries would argue that they are also good if not better alternatives to the likes of Germany, Uk and Italy. Greece did the best of the games they had and they have to be given credit for that.

Most football experts would agree though that Greece were also very lucky that they didn't have to face teams such as Germany, England and Italy whose potent striking forces would have made the Greek defense look like a slice of Swiss cheese.

They should not count on their lucky streak to continue 4ever, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Greece becum the 2nd team to be eliminated 2nite after the Russia match.
