Thinking about this, it could be an awesome money maker too, 70 miles to a gallon, 300 mile range, enough to carry an extra passenger, or parcels? I think you see where I am going with this dont you! Take off needs about 50 feet? Would be a really cool courier business! Profit would be pretty good dont you think?
Also what you need to think of, the 300 mile range in the air is a lot different to 300 miles on the ground! it really is 'as the crow flies'!

@TheManDogFish You might consider not flying in 70kph winds. I've done it but it takes some skills to launch & land in it. It is an ultralight so there is no license or registration or anything. Totally legal and only a couple simple FAA rules such as don't fly over a major airport. It's freaking awesome to fly. Sooo dang fun!!
@imasuper0308 Can you demonstrate a water-borne takeoff from the middle of that body of water or some other lake? I'm unfamiliar with inflating a wet wing immersed in a body of water and would like to understand that technique since you state it is possible. Thanks.
@dekesdad The K2 is waterproof and floats on top of the water. Or you can use poles to hold it in the air for take off. Since we can take off from pretty much anywhere though we haven't bothered setting it up for water as it isn't necessary.
I am the administrator so I would need to get with you and get you up to speed on skills & knowledge and pass you off. Message me directly if you like and we can arrange it. Dell 801-631-1731
@VideoThePwnr Excellent question, that is one of the seriously cool things about this aircraft. Because even in a stall the decent rate is only about 20fps and with the S-Trike having 21 inches of springs and crumple zone under the pilot you can literally full stall this aircraft right into the ground and odds are you will get up and walk away from it. Several people have done it and all of them walked away completely uninjured. Very very cool aircraft!
Up to 70mph! Pretty wild. It is a glider so it is very very efficient and once you get up you can actually shut the motor completely off and soar on ridge lift & thermals for hundreds of miles.
Hi, you would want at at least 1-2 weeks of training with a really good instructor. Give me a call and I can get you pointed in the right direction and help you avoid the people that don't really know what they are doing. Dell 800-707-2525
No problem, lots of people fly there. You just can't fly over a congested area or in restricted airspace right now but anywhere else is wide open. Very slick. No registration or certifications required.
Well think of it like this. If your motor falls off and it could possibly injure or endanger anyone then you are not legal. If it wouldn't harm or endanger anyone then you are good to go. Pretty simple stuff.
"The whole unit is also extremely portable, we offer a small platform rack that goes in your trailer hitch and it takes less than 60 seconds to break down the S-Trike and lock in on the rack for travel."
Awesome - I'd love to see a video demonstrating packing the whole rig up for travel so quickly.
just look back a bit through my videos or check my website as I do have this on video. It is really cool. It does indeed take only about 60 seconds to break it down and have it locked on the rack ready for travel.
I've been looking back, but haven't found it yet. I'll keep looking.
I do wish that you made a paramotor that could pack up into a suitcase for easier travel and storage. I've had to give up traveling with my WalkerJet because it takes up too much room to keep with us all the time.
The Flat Top breaks down much much smaller than the Walkerjet because it is a 5 piece cage instead of a 3 piece. I do have a conversion kit to update your Walkerjet if you are interested.
Man..I've been wanting a paramotor rig for years, but this would be even better. I must have something like this (once I'm done with college..got a late start, lol). Awesome personality man.
Thanks man! I'll probably do that. I've been wanting to for years. The sky used to be my playground, from skydiving to flying gliders to helicopters to a bunch of other things. I haven't been up in a few years now and I"m getting the itch.
Cool man. I can't wait until I'm able to pick one up. How are they reliability wise? What's the maintenance schedule like? Break down often? If you don't want to clutter up your comments section anymore, please feel free to private message me. Thanks!
Very simply, pretty much no maintainence. They'll go roughly 1000 hours and cost about $600 to rebuild. Very cheap and simple. Also the cool thing is that we fly the glider. The motor really doesn't matter. You don't have to meticulously maintain it. You can glide down and land anywhere. Unlike an airplane we don't really need a motor. We just have a shorter flight without it. Call anytime if you have more questions. 800-707-2525
18,000 is no problem and that's where class A airspace starts anyway. Speeds up to 50mph, regular premium gas can get up to 70+ mph. Thanks for the support.
You are funny Dell......I wil get the S Trike Package ASAP by this Disember 2009. I am your fan from Malaysia. Big money ......big money............hoyaaaaaaaa
Ok man, you are totally going to love it. The S-Trike is soooo awesome. Very very slick! If you want the Sky paraglider to go with it make sure you order before the first of December as the prices go up.
Did you copy the actual code or just copy and past the url? I haven't tried it but usually to post the video you have to copy the code. Then many times it doesn't copy correctly so what I do is copy the code and paste it in Microsoft Word, then copy and past it from word to whereever I need it. That works for me. Let me know if you need more help.
Still waiting for the exchange rate to improve Dell. Looks like its going to be a while. UKPPG are also selling it in the UK but their price is crazy. Anyway good luck to you in the U.S.
I'm currious when flying this thing if something did go wrong do you have a backup chute?? I believe when paragliding without the motor that you can get a reseve chute.

@HotElectonePlayer It's a great idea, however paramotors aren't the fastest way to deliver packages, they're best suited for recreational purposes
