  • Help me a lot. Nice voice.

  • Really thankful to the you for this insightful video. i alwayz find it difficult to understand technology but you go deep down to the basic so it becomes so clear. thanks a lot girl.

  • I couldn't tell hear your reason for switching from Premiere Elements to Sony Vegas -( it was a bit garbled). Please expound!

  • i am new to this...and thank you...quite informative...and just to think i talked a bunch of crap on some of other vids...shame on me! lol

  • Damn, you're cute haha. Anyway thanks for this vid you have really given a miracle. xx

I found this video quite educational.

I always wondered how videos or clips get done then uploaded online like Youtube, or any other Video-Sharing Websites.

    Thanks

  • I've been using Sony Vegas for quite some time and I've never thought of messing with Color corrector. Thanks for posting this, you showed me something new:).

and once i put a video onto the track i cant move it into the middle or end of the track it just stayes in one place also i cant shortin it becaus every time i try to it goes back to its original length

plz help me by sending me a responce comment

  • I think you hair looks nice :)

I'm New to Vegas. Trying to figure it out. Thanks for the video.

  • thanks for showing us what you do. cheers

  • i have the pro vegas program and cant figure it out to save my life, and it bums me out , big time I so want to makea intro and out tro thingy and well maybe some time in the future

  • wow, i like your face.

  • good qualty aswell but i find it easyer to make presets what you like so it is alot easyer and right clicking on the video file timeling then go to insert new track on text :)

  • Do you know how to do it so that you can make adjustments to multiple video tracks all at the same time?

  • To get CRACKED version of VideoCopilot Optical Flares, just google for Aries-Films, its like a goldmine for video editors, over 300 files, plugins , sound effects...

  • Wouldn't it be better to try to get the exposure and white balance set correctly before rolling instead of boosting and tweaking an underexposed take? Your method may be OK for jacking around at home, but it's not going to cut it in the real world of EFP or ENG where the clock is ticking.

  • This was a great explanation. We'd love to match you up!

    Cheers,

    Jim and Gary

    Cheers! Z.

  • I always wondered how the clips from the I-Power team and yours were made so pretty XD

Great video, you're pretty good at doing tutorials btw.

    you're super beautiful.

  • You have beuatiful hair :)

  • I have been planning to make a couple of vids for ages, but haven't found the time yet. Thanks for the info, it will be useful for when (if) I ever get around to making the vids :)

  • Nice clip. Don't worry about your hair, you still look pretty. :-D

  • straighten ur shit out

  • Man, can't believe my comment got so aggressively mis-understood.

Search youtube for you suck at photoshop youll see what I was getting at and you wont regret it.

  • Thank you

  • good stuff wolf girl!

  • I think I forgot to comment yesterday..

oops! anyway, thank you so much for this!

I've decided to get sony vegas as well,

(I haven't had the time to play with it much, but it looks pretty awesome to me!)

can't wait for my exams to be over! cause I want to figure out how sony vegas works!!!

thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • Np, glad it helped.

It's so surreal... me actually knowing something about technical stuff. All thanks to Reese, though :D

  • Did you actually buy Vegas? :P and by the way, I'm impressed. I spent an entire day trying to figure stuff out, but never worked with the Color Correctors. Where did you get the sound for the intro of this video? I'd like to have things like that for mine.

  • Thanks! My brother taught me all of that though :)

The sound of the intro is just simultaneous play of 7 different audio tracks from my own clips. The song that you can hear faintly in the background is "Making Me Nervous", by Brad Sucks. I used that song for full length intros :D

  • As for the legality of SV, I can neither confirm nor deny any rumors regarding the authenticity of my copy of the program :p

  • @twinklybird Hah don't worry about it. But, you missed part of my question--where did you get that like... soft-to-loud sound clip for the transitional effects on the intro to this video? (Sorry if that sounds really overwhelming for a question). I mean like that whooosh noise. Lol. I'd like it

  • Oh you meant that sound! That was part of a large pack of free commons samples. My brother bought the package a while ago, it was pretty expensive though but it has hundreds of samples. I guess you could just google free commons sound samples and see if you can get some for free.

  • bäm, really good :)

  • hi sexy!!!

  • use 9.0.

Its more complicated, but has more "things", you can do.

You need to pay for it though.

  • I have 9.0 installed already, just need to make the switch. And I figured a lot of people working with SV probably didn't have 9.0 yet; that's why I showed it in 8.0.

  • How very informative! Something I should pick up while I try to relearn photoshop as well. Thanks again for doing this! =D

  • Very helpful, thanks so much! You probably know this and were just doing it to show how to create it, but you can create templates for the text generator. When you have it the way you want it, type a name in the "Preset:" box ("Twinklybird: Thanks") and click the Save icon. The next time you come back, just select that preset and all the formatting will stay the same.

  • Thx for the comment :)

Yes, the save as preset thing is very practical! Took me about 3 months to actually find it, lol :)

  • I always fail to realise that postproduction is involved. I can imagine now how it must be a bit exciting for you to release each new video you make. Kinda like that twirly feeling in the stomach like when you are about to receive a grade for an exam and you know you did well.

Thank you for the fresh perspective on videobloggers :)

ps Ik vind het stiekem toch wel jammer dat je zo weinig vlaams spreekt, dat vinden wij hollanders zo sexy klinken ;)

  • Wow, that's so cool! :D I like the music in the background ^^ Relaxing.

  • Hey there!

I made a video to, i notices that Furious like the song by Elvis Presley - In the ghetto, because he sings it alot on lovestreams xD haha

So i made this clip about it based on WoW(and a the song that tells the story). can you make sure he watches it :)? It''s called

Orgrimmar - A story about "The biggest" ghetto in WoW

    Thanks :)

  • Yay! can I get a certificate for watching this vid, so I can get a Hollywood job. (Its that good ;)

  • you are beautyfull!

  • Love ur vids =) tommorow i'll have my copyrights , i'm author/compositor kiss: )!

  • Haha, nah, no idea how to do the real cool stuff :D

  • <333333333333333

  • Thanks! It helps to have that demystified a bit.

I am curious though, how many megapixels must one be at in order to be considered high def?

  • Damn, THANKs!

I need the Color corrector thanks a lot !

  • Wolf hair is cool!!! :-) Thanks for video tutorial! Being a user of Sony Vegas Video Studio 9, there are a lot of similarities in the user interface, so I learned a lot!

  • sexy hair

  • I use Premiere, but after trying a bunch of different export qualities and properties I couldn't find what I wanted. So now I just take a high quality export from Premiere and import into Windows Movie Maker where I export it again into something viewable.

  • Thanks alot....me and my couzin make videos but we use Windows movie maker so i think im going to try this out and see if i like it

  • and nobody cares what you have to say

  • Indeed it seems so.. How very depressing.

  • nice for a guy whose channel has only bene watched 301 times

  • That's amazing, I didn't know I had so many...

My Youtube profile is just to help me keep track of songs I like. Quite obvious I do not make videos.

If my comment offended Ms. Twinkly bird or her viewers I do apologize I was merely pointing out that this video has gotten a lot less views than compared to her other. I was not insulting the video, on the contrary I enjoyed it.

  • The view count always gets stuck around 310 - 304 on the first day, doesn't mean the views aren't going up. You should check back later to see the real count... I'm surprised you hadn't noticed this sooner.

  • I never bothered to look, but thank you for informing me.

  • simple and easy.

    nice vid josie.

  • Great! I learned a lot!

No "Dean's Subscribe to Twinklybird Outro"?! : (

  • I love the wolf girl hair look! :)

Don't apologize for showing us your beautiful hair.

  • thank you very much twinkly!

  • <3 thx

  • Great Tutorial!!

I've been thinking for a while now to upgrade my video-editing software. I use PowerDirector. Anyone know if Sony Vegas supports P.I.P. (picture-in-picture)? Thanks.

  • @jayarcidiacono yes you can position everything you want however you want. powerdirector blows when it comes to vegas...

  • @jayarcidiacono yes it does. You can have as many tracks as you wish to have.

  • @jayarcidiacono pretty sure it does. I've never messed with it yet though. the Pro version will do alot more cool stuff if you wanna pay the money for it.

  • You should do a series called 'you suck at Sony Vegas'.

Search 'you suck at photoshop' if you don't know what i'm getting at.

  • I didn't know reese was your brother oO

  • more editing tuts please

  • "Dances With Wolves" - the Stands With A Fist hairdo. XD

  • @notphatmageWins

    You sound like a bitch

  • @notphatmageWins

    stfu bitch

  • and you still subscribe to her? shut up, traitor fag.

  • Well, some ppl haven't been doing this for years, and they'd appreciate some basic tips. No one's forcing you to watch the video if you don't like it :p

  • yellow outline on white text

    LOL

  • No one's complained about it before, in the almost entire year that I've been using it :p

    I quite like it, tbh.

  • you are beautiful.

  • I like wolf girl hair look! How untamed.

  • soo you only look pretty because of Vegas?? :(

  • ..yes, I'm actually not a real person either... It's all CG...

  • Cool clip, need to try those settings.

  • It's also very scary because I was thinking about vlogging in China, and since I suck at editing I sorta gave up, but then I thought I'd ask you, but hey! I didn't even get a chance to ask, you just made a video, out of the blue. Like wuut wuut. Telepathy? haha :D Huge thank you's anyway =)

  • Haha, awesome! Yup, I could sense it :p

Np :D I really hope it helps a bit!

Have a great time in China! Can't wait to see your vlogs :D

  • awesome, it's very very helpful :D I always thought my videos was like super dull. :D didn't know what to do about it.

  • Very informative, thanks. :)

Just one thing, though: I thought you could use Adobe Premiere to edit in HD?

I'm looking into video editing software right now but am not completely sure which one to get - Adobe is rather pricey but would you say it was worth it or is it better to just stick with SV? Also, does Sony provide a similar package like Adobe does with After Effects?

Any input into this matter is appreciated.

    Love your videos btw. :)

  • Ah, I'm not really sure, my brother just told me Vegas would be able to handle it better.

Yeah, Adobe is very pricey, but I think it's worth it. Depends on what you wanna do with it of course. After Effects is amazing, and you get Photoshop with the package as well, so I think the Adobe package has the most benefits :p

If you want sth similar for SV, you could try Magic Bullets though (my brother uses it), but it's a heavy prog. Doesn't work for me.

  • you're so unsaturated xD

  • You can edit HD on your Asus 1000HE?

  • Actually... I don't film in HD, I film in a slightly lower quality so that I can edit it smoothly. Then I render it to HD :D

  • She's a wooolf! I always knew it.

    Btw how was your exam?

  • Youtube videos are 30 fps. If that helps :)

  • it depends on ur camera but not all vids are 30fps

  • Wolf look, huh? Hmm, makes me think of a song, what is it...

    Oh! She's a she-wolf! ;-)

    Peace

  • you are cute =P

  • Reese has mad skills.

    He has taught you well

    Wolf girl hair look...

    Interesting...

  • It's not photoshopping; nothing about me changes. Only the colors get a darker or warmer glow.

  • Thanks for the tips Fien! This should help in improving my n00bish sony vegas editing skills :)

  • *recomment* press center on the play bar so it plays then you click 0:02

  • Doesnt work for me aither, but just wait a hour or two.

  • You should make yourself green! I don't know why, but I think you should.

  • yay

    now it's working :D

  • not playing!!!!!!

why are sooooo many video's not working at the mo ?!?!?!??!?!

  • start from inside the clip and go to like 0:02

  • sweet like always :P

  • Cool!'
