haha..i know! it's pricey:( but found out afterwards that the compact can fit MAC's regular blushes:) which made me feel little better about buying a compact that i don't really need..lol

hahaha...yea it is surprising how terrible i am in french considering i live in canada! but years of taking it in high school and univ has helped me able to understand bits and pieces when i read it!haha and thank you so much for the compliment:) and sure i can help you in english as exchange for french lessons! ;)

the compact is beautiful! it's bit pricey but it's definitely something you can treasure even after your done using the product inside:)

what your skin color? im not sure which powder i should get...i have asian skin NC25-30 and i use med biege i.d.minerial powder

i haven't used MAC foundation/powder in ages but i believe i went from NC30 to 35 and sometimes C3 to 4....

i bought the baroque boudoir compact in med plus...and there are only two choices..med plus and light med..but the powder goes on pretty sheer so i don't think it would make a huge diff but i say go with med plus unless your are really light skinned:)

i just tried fitting the baroque boudoir powder refill against one of my mac blush and they seem to be exact same size! i can't say for 100% that they will fit perfectly (the depth might be diff etc..) but so far from what i can see they look like a good fit:)

it's pricey but does come with a refill and the case is a collectable piece that can be used after the refill as a compact mirror or as mentioned above, it may fit the mac blushes so you can use it as blush compact:)

i would only recommend this if you are someone that is into nice packagings..if not i wouldn't buy it cuz the actual makeup products themselves aren't anything special...you can easily find similar color lipsticks at lower price from regular mac collection...

this powder is a finshing powder:) it's a sheer powder for you to use after foundation as finishing powder or just use it on its own on top of moisturizer for just a sheer cover to rid shines on your face (but don't expect to coneal or cover anything up with this)

no you can refill this powder compact with mac's regular sized ones:(

i know in my vid the powder may appear to be same as regular size ones but the actual powder portion is smaller than the regular mac ones...

you can only refill it with the refil that comes with the compact but after that that's it! mac does not sell refills for this...

thx! i used mac's tempting quad (tempting on the bottom half of eyelid, dark edge on outer corner,next to nothing as highlight, and sharp over the color matters technakhl liner)

I am not crazy about the colors in this collection. However, I love the damask print packaging. I'm thinking of ordering one lipstick, one gloss and the compact. The idea of making your own lipstick and putting it in the lipstick case is great. If the lip gloss packaging is good you can do the same for that as well.

the damask baroque print packaging was what drew me to this collection at first! but the irridescent colors of the glosses made me buy moe than one! i went back and got everything expect the darkest lipstick:)

n yes the lipgloss has a brush tip (instead of sponge/felt tip) so i should be able to re-use it:)

yea this collection is it pricey but definitely different fom other ones! i actually went back and pick up two lipsticks and one more gloss!

i plan on re-using these lipstick containers for my own homemade lipstick so i kinda justified getting the lipsticks that way...lol

the powder compact is bit pricey but it's sooo pretty!! and the lipglosses are so pretty too! if you decide to get one thing from this collection go for the compact! :)
