Yeah, that's right. The sleep she was put into made her lose all of her memories, so she forgot he was her son. When she's on her computer, she finds out about it which is why she pulls the gun back in from the window and leans on it.

She thinks to herself 'no, I can't do it, I can't murder my own son'.

Next thing you know, Lei bursts in pointing his gun at her and screaming 'freeze!'

It's no wonder she shot at him then legged it!

What I can't understand though, is where her massive gun goes.
