This video synopsis of your trades for the week is outstanding. First, I can't be in the live trading room every day due to my work schedule. Second, it helps to ingrain in my brain how you set up and execute your trades with various market conditions. Lastly, it clarifies questions that I have after reviewing your training tapes.
I really appreciate you taking the time to do these videos.
Thank you Rob, observing you has provided an invaluable lesson in trade setup, observation & disicpline. I joined the room 1.5 weeks ago and ecstatic that i did!
Excellent and concise review of some awesome trading happening now. Looking forward to more of the same in the live trading room. See you there and as always, a big Thanks.
I have with you for quite a while now. It just gets better and better every single day. This clip is another RHJ classic. No one does more for their students than you and Tradethemarkets. I surely will not be in this professional trader status without your guidance and learning via the live Room. My only hope is all other serious to-be traders realise this and make an effort to learn. Thank you for your immense help. Simon
Rob i keep getting stopped out even though the trade is going my way. yes my stopps are slightly tight for this market but I'm sure the loss would be bigger if I widen them....so I have a shut off rule that I use if i lose a certain amount i stop "time out" then I have to watch the market continue in my direction for huge gain without me! that frustration is building and I have not had any consitant gain,
A few things that I find help me is to look at the Average True Range (ATR) of the timeframe I like to trade. I imagine your stops were built on "normal market conditions" and we''re well beyond that for now. In my opinion, you either have to wait until the ATR of your favorite time falls back into the area you originally set your stop targets from, or you need to look at deeper pullbacks into your intended trend prior to any entries to give you more breathing room!
