@blade004 And with regards to your overall observation. So true, because that's how asian women are socialized in certain areas back in the country, not all, but some. Men are expected to pay for everything and treat her like a queen, and she's expected to take care of the home without questions asked etc. But, imo, I've pretty much grew up in the West, and acculturated to their norms. I mean having material goods is nice, but how much can you get out of that when its not really 'yours'.
@blade004 What I mean by 'yours' is that, I think something you earn on your own and pay for yourself is more fulfilling than having a boyfriend buy it for you. I don't know, I don't particularly look at material wealth/goods as the first and foremost in a relationship, perhaps its the fact that I do want to be more of an independent person so I don't believe in depending on a man for financial stability. More of a 50/50 thing and equality sharing if you're living together or for dinner plans.
Women like yourself rather interesting. I don't mean this is an insult but in regards to love it seems rather common from my observation that women of your beauty and ethnicity normally go for the BMW owing type of man. I have met many women of that ilk in my years & despite being not entirely happy in a relationship they continue due to the material and status.
Yet they are usually the most gentle, decent and caring and praise love in music. Is it love, or is life essentially material?.

I can't say those type of women aren't entirely in love. After all in arranged marriages, they start off with no love and grow to have love. I suppose it depends on their mindset, and besides, we really have no control over whom we choose to love. Essentially I believe that when we do and realize it, it'll just be something that had been growing. tbc..
