Oh no, I love it. Ronnie is my all time favorite too. Unfortunately the "record" scratches REALLY show up on my stereo system. It did bring back memories of the old 45s. Just thought I would warn anyone else downloading it that you would hear it. BTW, my favorite Ronnie song? Suburbia
@carrulw1 This records was transferred to a cd and uploaded. It is the only copy that I have that isn't "sealed" I personally thought that the scratchy sound would remind all of the days before cds. I do hear a little white noise and popping but that is just how records are. Also, I am hearing impaired so maybe I dont hear it like others. If you go to 2006frankmckays channel ( a good friend of mine) I'm sure you will hear a clearer version. Sorry you didnt enjoy it. :-( dodybelle
@dbelleburr I love the sound of a record crackling. Reminds me of my childhood laying on the floor by the speaker listening to Ronnie Milsap, George Jones and Jim Reeves. I loved the way they sounded then and I love it now. Thanks for uploading these. :)
Where I left off from my previous comment, it just shows that there are surprises waiting in even your favorite songs! Anyways, it's excellent to know that someone FINALLY posted this, after a HUGE series of videos that are either covers or live performances by Ronnie placed in medleys! Thanks dbelleburr!
@CharlieAndRonnie you are very welcome. I know what you mean about the lyrics. LOL but you know about that already. I do enjoy some of the live performances. However, I want to hear the song without all the outside noise.
Another favorite from Ronnie Milsap, winning him his 2nd Grammy, as it should've! As dbelleburr mentioned, it's from his "Greatest Hits" cassette, which I fell asleep to when I was little. Ironically, he was almost sued because, according to him, the intro sounded similar to the intro to "Behind Closed Doors" by Charlie Rich, which Ronnie also did. I thought until I saw this that it was 'our little go-band,' and even before this, I saw a lyric site, and I once thought 'I'll plague this stand!'
@CharlieAndRonnie Wow! I didn't know that about the song. As far as the lyric sites, they can be somewhat usefull, but I have found on numerous occassions that they are not always accurate. I feel that it is important to include lyrics and this is why. I have a new movie maker for videos and cant figure it out yet ... when I do, I will repost the songs.
That steel guitar part in the first chorus is SO TRIPPY!! ~~ Love it!!

It's a little scratchy at the beginning...sounds like a scuffed up record being recorded.
