In Germany, "Led Zeppelin" (actually, their NAME) were banned because of Madame Von Zeppelin, (Widow of Mr Zeppelin-inventor or the dirigible, or "blimp") When she heard that the band had used their surname, she was happy at 1st, until she saw the bands 1st album cover with the Hindenburg blowing up in flames! She was apalled! So......they were booked as ..........you guessed it!
I can see why you would think so. As it happens, this was a "private joke". (obviously, this is not a private forum). The comment above mine was made by my son. It was a coincidence and I was just kidding him. I, of course, more than agree with my kid. It's a misunderstanding. Peace.
OK, here's the story: This concert was to take place in Sweden I beleive, or some other Northern European country where the Royalty was actually named Von Zeppelin and wouldn't have a rock and roll band use the family name. So they called themselves the nobs for one or more concerts during this time.
and also after yelling at the band and grant she was almost about to leave peacefully when she saw the album cover of her great grandfathers Zeppelin in flames and was almost about to sue! but Page and Grant calmed her down and
Plant's voice changed so dramaticaly from the 68/69 era to 70 it was so much cleaner in 70 watch Communication Breakdown from the Royal Albert Hall and then from Danish TV
Led Zeppelin is not, and never was metal. Jesus Christ, dudes how come a band with 1/3 of their material is acoustic could be metal... For God's sake...
the Basic structures of "metal" ARE in fact included in much of Led Zeppelins early playing from 68-73 If you listen you will hear the building blocks of metal...have an open mind "Dude"
well if you listen to Muh music and MTV (god i hate it) they say zeppelin is metal, but if you look at zeppelin I its pure blues!, zeppelin II has more heavyer rock sound, with songs like Whole Lotta Love and Heartbreaker, but still brings the blues with The Lemon Song, Bring It On Home and Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's Just A Woman), zeppelin III more acoustic then ever, Zeppelin IV the greatist rock album ever! and so on and so forth...
is this the concert where grand funk debuted? someone told me this was better than woodstock.

I mean, Aerosmith's version is very similar to this. I mean, they did cover this one, and not the Yardbirds version.

Led Zeppelin should have recorded this in the studio for the first album. It would have fit right in!
