  • i have a boxer named king he is juss a lighter color coat than this one he is only 7 weeks old i love that dog he is playful but i dont know how to make him come when we ask him to

  • I have a Boxer he is a beautiful dog with an amazing coat and collies are even and His name is Rastus the boxer is also very boisterous I think that's one word to describe them!!!!

  • My boxer's name's Tyson too... :D

I got his video on my channel... ;)

  • My Boxer's name is Tyson also =D

  • imma call my boxer rex ima get him tomorro

  • My boxer name is Tyson (=

  • My first Boxer was just a couple months shy of 14 yrs old when I had him put down with stomach cancer. I have a male and female now. Of all dogs , Boxers were the easiest to house train.

  • My experience with Boxer's has been that they can not tell the difference between a human and a dog. A example is my friends female boxer. It bonded with me and would always lay by my side. However, when I introduced my new girl friend to the mix. The boxer show extremely aggressive behavior. It seemed to be some form a jealousy.

  • what if the boxer is a stray?

  • I´ve got 2 boxers now (a couple).always had boxers.I love them..but cardiac, must have carefull with food over 7/8 years old...is a die yound dog.

  • @MrMelodynelson what would be the average age? i really want one...

  • Great video! You're right on about boxers. I've had mine for 8 years now, and he is the most fun, affectionate, happy go lucky dog on earth.

  • i have 2 boxers male and female best dogs you can have as long as your willing to put up with a hyper dog. they sure do cute stuff with all that energy. i have never had a problem with either of mine warming up to or being around any other kind of breeds or sex of dogs but i socialized my female at a young age and my male is a rescue that is just laid back. my female even raised 4 orphan kittens without ever having a litter of her own. they are amazing and i will always have one in my home

  • after hearing boxers are intellegent i agreed now that my dog is not hardly a boxer at all considering he's a mix except for the biting part

  • i have a boxer and i just love her. she was house broken with in the first week that we had her, she is now almost two years old. very good with kids. i will not have any other kind of dog again

  • GREAT advice - RESEARCH this is the right dog for you because boy can they be energetic and totally nuts if they don't get an outlet and they are highly susceptible to anxiety if left alone - they are people dogs.....literally LOVE to be with you and miss you ALOT when you go out. Training and socialisation (everywhere and anywhere), ground rules that you must stick to too! FANTASTIC dogs!!! Just about to get my Pup after my 8 year old passed in December - can't wait to see that Kidney Bean

  • I have a fawn female Boxer named Jessa. She is very aggressive towards other female dogs. Jessa has a strong-willed mind of her own, and I have to be confident and in charge at all times. She snorts, wheezes, and snores. Jessa also slobbers and drools a lot. She farts after eating. Jessa is very healthy, but a lot of Boxers aren't and you need to find a good breeder.

  • Love my boxers! I just wish I could get my female to warm up to other dogs as quickly as my male does. She would eat other dogs if we didn't stop her,but once she gets used to them being around, she's ok.We can't get a third from the shelter, because she would never pass the meet and greet. We got her from the shelter last year at the age of 5.

  • my boxer wont stop jumping on strangers i have had enough but he obviously dosent the good thing is he does not bite but when strangers come into the house he just jumps on them i dont know what to do?

  • AbrahamMat, Our male boxer would jump on people when they walked in.We worked with him(can't let him near the door when you open it) and told everyone not to come in all excited to see him and that helped a bit. He's almost 11 now and while he still greets people at the door, doesn't jump anymore.

  • My boxer was A BREEZE to train. I think she may have had only one accident or two. She is one to stand her ground when she is around another dog tho because she is around other dogs so infrequently and i know that is my fault. We have two chihuahuas that don't care much for her at all so sometimes in can get a little lonely for her cuz she doesn't have a dog her size to play with. Thats why I try and play with her as much as I possibly can!

  • My girl is very friendly and affectionate but very aggressive with other female dogs...working on this. Thank god for my dog-sitter! I don't know how people leave their dogs home all day alone :(

  • I got mine in Wichita, my wife got him for me for an early Valentines day gift, and I love him to pieces.

  • where can i find a boxer any ideas

  • Look for your local Boxer Rescue League.

  • If you can't train a Boxer, give up. These dogs are the easiest dogs to train - they seem to know who is worth their loyalty and who's a schmuck ;-)

  • Yes they are great around kids! I had one, but we had to give him away when we moved. I miss him still! :(

  • this video made me teear up just because i had a boxer named tyson who was killed a few years ago by a prick cop :(

  • Fuck cops! Sorry about that.

  • how can i get my boxer to stop biting as hard he bites pretty hard for a 11 week puppy and hes really aggressive and cant play without biting hard

  • when he starts gettin to crazy and bites hard, stop playin and just lay him down and pet him.

  • yeah like foof505, just ignore him if he starts biting hard, and when he has calmed down then resume the play session, but if he bites again repeat the process. Boxers respond better to positive encouragement, so they'll theoretically respond better if you stop the playing rather than yelling at the dog for biting too hard.

  • Squeal or ignore him when he bites tool hard. Boxers are smart dogs so he'll get the idea =D

  • @SilverWhitzWolf - It's true. We did this with our Boxer from an early age and her bite inhibition is amazing. She's a therapy dog now at the local children's hospital as well as our local nursing home.

  • If you're looking for a dog such as the one he'd just discribe come To America or Canada, we have these dull Boxers here. If you want the real deal go to Italy, Europe some where. You will find sound and good temperament useful dogs.

  • Agree!!! In Norway and som other European countries, it`s not alowed to cut tails on them. Also cut/improve their ears. Why do they this crazy thing with the dogs? Because they are more interested in "the look", not the natural behaviar. My boxer is HAPPY and also show it with its tail. Its also important when they move and play.

  • I'm in Canada and my boxer isn't dull. He's a perfect match to the breed's description.

  • Good! I'm happy for you. It's about time we have some decent dogs in North America. I still say, and that's a fact, that if one wants to find good dogs one still have to resort to European pedigrees, that's all.

  • This, and many other additives make to many pets/dogs allergic. Dont think the vet knows. They have NO education in nutrition and are sponsored by these international bil petfood brands... Ask for GUARANTIE, no additives at all. Most of these producers guaranties that THEY have not added anything. But the fact is that the meat has allready been treated with EQ when they get it.

  • My boxer is great around babies & the fragile elderly. The main thing is give them lots of toys to play with so they never get bored. Plus you need to take them out to play at least once a day. They get hot really fast, be careful not to over heat them. Be careful what you feed them, they have delicate stomaches. No fruit, chocolate, wheat is bad for them. I don't think my dog would do good with other animals in the house because she has aways been the queen around here.

  • You said...they have delicate stomaches... What dog stomachs stand fruit, chocolate, wheat? Give the natural food WITHOUT additives like all the big petfood-brands do. Most of this food is tretated Ethoxyquin. It is a quinoline-based antioxidant used as a food preservative and a pesticide.

  • my boxer is mean it ate my cat

  • your boxer is the man

  • @kke1997

Maybe your boxer is secretly Alf.

  • I LOVE BOXERS!!!! im gonna name my girl boxer amy

  • whats the best time to train a boxer im getting one at 5 months old its a boxer/lab mix

side note whats a good name for that type of dog ?

  • train them as early as you can, we have a 9 week old Boxer and she already knows how to speak, shake, sit and fetch...very, very smart dogs, and lots of fun!

  • would you recommend a boxer over a doberman pinscher for an active person in law enforcement with a wife and a 8 year old daughter.

  • Boxer every time.dobermans are great but id trust a boxer a million times more than a doberman with kids.

  • Hi. I want to get a boxer I have a wire fox terrier (female) very dominant and a shih tzu: Do you think they could live together? Waht is better a female or a male for my case.

    Thanks for answering.

SORRY BY MY ENGLISH IF I HAVE SOME GRAMMATHICAL MISTAKE I DO NOT DOMINATE THE LANGUAGE.

  • in my experience (multiple boxer owner) gender is not an issue, they are a very social dog and mix very well with dogs and humans alike, dont hesitate, owning a boxer is a great adventure

  • just like people. girl boxers are smaller, of course than males. my dog is a gir land 65 lbs. males can be 70-80 lbs. but it varies, just like anything else..

  • i absoulutely love boxers i have a papillion with my boxer in my house and they get along great i really reccomend boxers they are the smartest dogs i have ever seen. my boxer learned to shake in yhe first week we had her

  • boxer dog is the only dog

  • Hey, as a multiple boxer owner, you may have an answer to my question.

Why are some boxers really huge and tall and others thiner and smaller? I have seen very significant size differences in this breed.

Is it my idea? Is it a gender issue? Something else?

    Thanks!

  • from what ive seen...the tall ones are usualy more lean..and the short ones are more chubby most of the time..

  • We live in Australia and have 2 boxers - they are of the smaller variety and lean as they get good exercise. We heard that the smaller boxers originated from Europe and the larger originated from the US. Dont know if its true or not but genetics must play a part. Boxers are awesome. Great with our 2 kids. Never rough with them - never knock them over even though they are so exciteable.

  • yes most boxer drool just when they are eating or when they see u eat

  • thanks

  • boxer

    o

    e

    r

  • Not to often, if you have a snack and he sits and watches you eat it, they will drool

  • lol my moms friend has 2 boxers. One male and one female. The male is soo funny. Everytime I go there is always jumps on me or knocks me down when im sitting on the floor and licks me to death lol the female is more scared. but the male is just soo funny. He is loveable. lol

  • Question? I bought a 3 1/2 year old female boxer and took her to the vet and she got her shots and a clean bill of health...But she has a very unpleasant odor coming from I think her nasal area. She also does not ever drool. Are these normal characteristics of this breed or is she unique and the only non-drooling stinky boxer out there? If anyone could help me and answer any of these questions I would be so greatful. Thanks

  • female boxers do not drool has much has males do... about the stink I dont know anything about it

  • yes when they are hungry or just ate, but otherwise no

  • hey i have a boxer puppy he is white and his name is tomas

and he is already starting to bite

does anyone know how to stop this behavior

  • It's mouthing. You should go on Amazon and look up some puppy books. Best to get a lot of chew toys so he can have something to chew on. Get him in puppy school, I know you have a local one and they will teach him some manners. Then obedience school. However, I don't know about boxers but I know my dog was pretty mouthy even afterwards (play biting, something I don't like) so you may or may not want to teach your dog it is absolutely unacceptable for him to mouth humans.

  • ok thank you

  • If he does it to you while playing, he is just getting overexcited (like a kid that has had too much sugar). Say no, firmly, and stop playing until he calms down. When you start to play again, when he starts to mouth again, repeat "No" firmly (don't yell-they're very sensitive) and stop playing (hide your hands or whatever it is he is mouthing if necessary). He is displaying a natural behavior and you're training (teaching) manners, like you would a kid. Be patient, be consistent, it works.

  • ok

i am already training him and he is basically a star pupel

  • I have had 2 boxers, my first one was very calm and very collected, never agressive nevr jumped on anyone and never scared anyone, just walked up to them and licked their hand, my current brindle baxer is very enrgetic, and when he sees a person on our property he runs and wags his whole body (not just his tail) he is definately harder to control, but he is still pretty young.

  • I have a gorgeous brindle boxer called Mercedes and she is the most gentle loving dog you could find. She was play fighting with my mums boyfriend and she accidentally reopened a cut on him. She immediately stopped playing and put her paws on his shoulders, licked the blood and stared right into his eyes as if she was asking if he was ok.

When we got her she was starved and VERY sick. Now she's absolute perfection and we all love her more than any dog we've had before. She is 'the precious'

  • My brother has one and man its on crack to hyper for me i will stick with my German Shepard.

  • why search them and click the video?

  • i love my boxers!

i have a 6 yr old white boxer and a 3 1/2 month old flashy fawn.

boxers are the best dogs hands down!

  • they totally are. we have a boxer/German Shepard and we use to have a boxer/chow. she was awesome.

  • hey is this a good pair of dogs to be living in the same house

a labrador retriever wich is about 11 years old in human years

and a boxer puppy wich is only 3 months old

  • My boxer of 1 years 1/2 is really scare of manhole what can I do?

  • I've had 12 boxers over the years. All have been friendly towards people but two who compete for dominance. Establishing the human-dog pack pecking order and dog to dog pecking order is very important (for the human to follow those rules) especially in families with kids and multiple dogs. Never let aggressive animals on furniture, alpha always gets toys and bones first over subordinate dogs.

  • My boxer loves to party

  • My family has bread boxers for my entire life and i have never come across an agresive boxer unless someone is trying to hurt you. every boxer i have ever had would never attack anything unless someone or some animal was trying to hurt someone in my family. they are very protective. they are the best breed alive. they are fantastic with kids even with babies. and they are big enough to protect you and your family.

  • I have a white boxer named Noel she is 2 and i love her to pieces!! I have two children and she is great with them, she wacthes them like they are her kids and I would tell anyone to get a boxer I am breeding her to keep on of her pups and know a few people wanting them!!

  • My boxer Satyr is a Boxer x Bull Mastiff.Cypress is a Boxer x Pitbull.Love them both heaps!.I was gonna buy a pure breed boxer from my dads friends kennels but i was wanting to know if pure breed are harder to train? ive got a pure breed staffy and hes a good guard dog and loves kids!

  • I GET MY BOXER TOM YAY!!!!

  • Great video, I personally think that anyone who wants a working breed dog et. should very well considering the research aspect of the bloodlines before even inquiring about a purchase.

  • thanks for the video!!

just curious what if we adopt a boxer and they tell if they are good with kids, dogs, cats. and there is no way we can tell the parents and grandparents.

it would be helpful if you answer.

    thanks

  • great vid! very informative..keep it up.
