Well, what is amazing to me, as I saw the first evening of that piece in Paris in 87, is that he is so flexible, so cool. I don't know if this is the kind of energy and body that was looked after by Forsythe at the time, but today, the dancers are taller, slimer, and more flexible so the result is visually absolutely different. This guy is handsome and dances very well, but he seems to me like a flegmatic prince out of his world.

That this man is an etoile is unbelievable, he's a demi-soloist, at best.

Lefevere has a penchant for promoting beautiful men to the top ranks, though what they have in beauty they lack in dance technique and talent. Unbelievable that such an unclean, unfinished dancer with such a mediocre technique is safeguarded with the classics. POB is NOT a classical company of any worth, it's fools gold, rhinestones which think themselves diamonds.

forsythe is not JUST a contemporary choreographer. he is many many things.that is his greatness. although this is a contemporary ballet. i think he got great legs but he dont eat space really and his head never moves and he only changes his back on easy steps. i am sick of seeing the fake forsythe wiggle. and that it has something to do with just being sexy.
