boleh tahu bro azharkent ni seorang wartawan hiburan ker?? thx coz i really enjoyed this vc! and i was her followers..when I see that the DCT when singing, she really comfortable to do so .. not like some other singer would look their stiff neck veins to belt high pitch .. my opinion that she was wise to control her breathing and gifted voice .. on top of that I was impressed with her as a pleasant personality and attitude to other people..

saya tak tau apa motif comparison ni? kadang-kadang nyanyian secara live lebih baik dari cd nya. dulu artis nyanyi miming, sekarang sumer kena nyanyi secara live. Ingat lagi kata-kata ct ketika bertanding di dalam anugerah juara lagu 1997 menerusi lagu Aku Cinta Padamu, cara nyanyian yang akan dibawanya ke pentas AJL takkan sama macam dalam cd.. so, tak perlu nak compare.

p/s : It's only that the one in Kurniaan Dalam Samaran is way higher than it really is. You can hear what C#6 really sounds like in Opera #2 by Vitas when he raises the key by one semitone near the end of the song. C# tone is also there in Halo by Beyonce (studio version - lowest note in Halo), but of course Beyonce hits the tone in the third octave which is way lower. GBY

Secretzsavvy are among siti's vivid fans that know about those notes.. so are u.. right? hehe.. by the way, Vitas is one of my favourite singer as well.. ehehe..

p/s: hey, i always hit that note as well.. ehehe.. but not as sharp as Vitas'.. i'm a choir mentee.. ^_^

'coz we have our own female's soprano.. it juz that sometimes, in a practice lesson, we have to play with our vocal chord.. and i hit that high notes as just to practice my voice ability, and Vitas is my favourite.. that's it.. besides, students sometimes always try to mimic their teacher, right.. ehehe.. hey, i'm not that good la.. so so only.. student maa.. ahaha.. ^_^

I think you're better than me lor because as I can recall, I cannot go any higher than Vitas' Opera #2. I would be very grateful if I can sing Dedication in the original key. But sad as it is to me, Dedication is an extremely beautiful song without lyrics combined with extreme notes, isn't it?

Dedication peaks at D#6 or Eb6. That man also can go extremely low maa..what a voice.

@azharkent Dude you're right. FT is blessed with his 'brutal' tone + nasal tone (same case with Siti in the beginning of her career) + outstanding vibrato skill (very fast one - artistes that I know can do this : FT, Siti Sarah, Siti Nurhaliza).

Regarding Vitas, I only found out about him not long ago. To date, I'm only familiar with his songs I said earlier. I will try to listen to his Crane's Crying later. XD but don't cry, be a man! haha..typical..who cares really, right

@azharkent I have no comment about Siti Sarah. But I think not all black women can sing lor...haha! She's good that's all I know. I've listened to Crane's Keraying and liked it already. I think Vitas put some drugs in his songs.

p/s: WDYT is what do you think..so what do you think? HohO! Idayu is hard to explain. One word describing her..HYBRID she can sound like ning + siti + mariah carey. She is really an example of 'human vocal technology'. No la..but she is really a vocal hybrid to me.

Yes, dulcet that's the word. Couldn't agree more. His whistling is darn goooood. XD But I just don't understand why some people with big talent aren't able to get my attention as Siti (as an example) does. I guess it has to do with the combination of the voice and the character who brings the voice with him/her. I used to imagine if Siti's voice belonged to other singers. And I didn't find it attractive even that singer was prettier than Siti. So to say,...

@lieyo85 yes... but as far as i know, he only used his whistling skill in one song only, 'kata'.. and i still remember in Melodi, long time ago, when people kept on comparing him with anuar.. so he did his whistle to prove they're different, LIVE on screen!! damn.. goosebump! same goes to me.. i do admire other great singers as well, jac, idayu, noryn, adibah, ziana, to name some, but still siti win my heart.. i used to pretend that i hate siti, but my heart unable to deny it at all..
