It made a change to hear Level 42 completely live, without any of the backing sequences that usually embellish their live sound (and that's not a criticism as I like a full arrangement). Still love this band after all this time.
Mark King and Mike Lindup still sound the same.... shame they don't look the same now. My only criticism of this recording is the drummer - it sounds like he is trying to own the song? Doesn't sound right.
i love when the music from the 80's when done by their original players always sounds so much better years later.... this jazzy funky version is great
It's disturbing and bizzare to see these guys that I knew from when I was a kid as these older men. I still picture them as the youthful lads they were in the 80s.
I saw them a few years ago - brilliant even after all the years, total pros and still sounding great. Mark's playing really has to be seen to be believed!
Haha love some of the comments not sure about hugh laurie tho - poor mike!!! Thanx for sharing this as usual a great job by the guys - love it - love them -:)))
omg fucking great job , real musicians no bullshit,,, tnx 4 this video, great arrangements, drums remains me of a dave matthews drumer , carter heheh ,,,
The Level 42 Saxophonist Sean Freeman has a more than passing resemblance to Ricky Groves who played Gary Hobbs in 'Eastenders'...........I've never seen a photo of them together, spooky huh ?!?!
Yea, great bass and the drummer is on FIRE!!

It's funny how Mark is basically telling the camera man to turn the camera over to Mike, as if he didn't realize it was Mike singing that part, lol.
