Im British, well English, and I reckon were pretty similar to americans in a lot of ways, we both wanted to see a good fight and were both obviously behind our lads. Hatton and mayweather gave each other the respect they dserved at the end of it all, so why cant we? Hatton was brave throughout the fight, and mayweather did prove to be technically better than him. hard pill to swallow for the UK but big respect to Hatton either way! that manc accent was bloody terrible too!

I thought the fight was ok.. But like you say it went downhill after the cut which put a dampener on the whole thing. We didn't get to see the fight to it's true potential. If Roy wasn't cut it would have been much more exciting. I didn't care who won as I like both, I was just hoping for a great fight for two brilliant boxers. It makes Joe look better than Roy, which in reality isn't true.
