No, they cut out the context. She said in Church, "Pray that they're sending them out..." You can watch the whole thing on Youtube. It's in part one of Palin's church speech, about half way through. Hi levisque67, I live in New Zealand my bother in-law is Alaskans, We in New Zealand will have our election on 8th November we have had a left wing number one for about 9 years now and have taken a lot of rights from the people eg we can't use a smack to correct our kids and now they want to bring in a hate speech law, so you could end you in trouble with the law for specking your mind. I would hate to see you in the land of the free go though what we are becouse of the liberal points of view

New Zealand runs a multi-party system. The Labour Party can't call the shots without other groups agreeing with them. And since your officials are elected every 3 years, you can vote them out if you don't like them. That's what happened (and is happening) to the Republican party here.

Sadly, most politicians are corrupt to some degree. At some point the tactics they use for the "common good" compromises their sense of ethics. You want to catch one who's peaking and still on the good side. (I think it's Obama.)
BTW, the economic plans have been compared and analyzed by Greenspan. Conclusion: Obama is the lesser evil.

You are sadly misinformed. Both McCain and Obama's tax plan have been put thru the wringer by independent financial analysts. Turns out Obama's numbers not only save more people money - Alan Greenspan, the former Fed who is a Republican and friend of McCain's, has come out and said that America cannot afford McCain's tax plan because it means borrowing massive amounts of money.

Politics and government are driven by different things. They require proof and facts. Faith in God or faith in Atheism, your choice. Blind faith in a politician, a fallible human simply because they claim God is on their side— a great way to acquire a butt load of snake oil.

Charlie Gibson has always been known as a lightweight interviewer (which is fine for 'Good Morning America' but not a political campaign). That's exactly why the GOP picked him to be the first to talk to Palin. They knew full well that he wasn't gonna dig deep and follow up on evasive answers. It was the best chance they had to make Caribou Barbi look semi-coherent.

He's on ABC so he is doing 'World News' (where he anchors mostly) and I'm fully aware he hasn't been on GMA for a while. Fact remains: Nobody is ever gonna accuse CGibson of being a tough interviewer because that's never been his style. This is total and other fluff compared to what Obama has dealt with on Fox News for example.

You don't have to be a tough interviewer to get someone to show who they are. CG got Palin comfortable enough to speak, and we got to see what she's like. Why do you want him to spook the little girl? That's Chris Matthews' job. :)

Religion has been used as a tool used to control people. I'm not anti-religion, but it shouldn't be brought into government. Palin is a perfect example of someone who has bought in to religion to the point that she can't think objectively. Her ideology is very scary, especially for someone that's suppose to be the leader of the free world. Scary.
