I love the way you show Orihime's qualities. It's a great thing that there are Still some people out there who understands her feelings and her love. The fact is that she is not like the 'ordinary' friend of Ichigo. Let me explain myself: She is not like Chad , Ishida or Rukia. Like you said in your description she has no battle experience and she is not as powerful as Ishida or Chad. BUT she fights for her friends and she seems to be the doctor of Ichigo's group. She is mentally strong!
Aw, I love this. Orihime is my favorite character. She doesn't need to fight to be strong. She has her will, love and compassion and it enables her to do things most others wouldn't... people who hate Orihime are just spiteful. I LOVE ORIHIME! AND I LOVE THIS VIDEO JUST AS MUCH! <3

I'm also dying for Grimmjow to come back >< But you know id love to see Orihime interacting with the both of them if they were around and turned over a new leaf, she just really brings out the most interesting sides in everyone she interacts with.

Orihime isn't my favorite character but I will say this is a beautiful video. It portrays Orihime's inner conflicts with her situation in life and the people around her. I love how it ties all the other characters as well. I hope to see more in the future.

@ctap4 I think the name thing is just people being petty really, they use anything they can against her and thats probably the easiest thing. If it were any other character they probably wouldn't care, but with all her fantastic character development as of late i think they feel they need everything they can get to justify disliking her, let alone hating her. I would probably say that Orihime reminds me of my younger sister and that is why she is my favorite. I have always loved the passion you put in your AMVs...every single cut seems to carry weight, every effect has its meaning and purpose...I like how you focus on Orihime and manage to somehow convey what she feels with the scenes you use and by focusing on her eyes or body movements. It's hard to explain...I also love your lengthy heartfelt descriptions and how you describe Orihime. You are one of those rare AMV makers who pour their hearts in their videos and don't focus on technicality alone.
@missanntrophe As cool as action vids are, i think theres something special about using eyes and body language in combination with the music, as it stays in my mind far longer than the adrenaline rush of a fight scene. Orihime espescially has these eyes that are very expressive, as she isnt all that open about her feelings so her eyes tend to tell her story for her. Plus her gaze is so piercing, more so than any other character Kubo draws, its hard to look away from her lol!
Anyway, I must say that this video was purely amazing. As always, you convey yourself extremely well in the description, and I can't help but smile because you understand the essence that is Orihime. @0animelover0 I agree. Ive seen some of the voice actors from the show say that if she (or Rukia) wasnt around the story would feel very wierd. I think she brings a lot to the book that otherwise wouldnt exist, since its a shounen story. she sort of represents all that stuff that gets left out and has an unusual effect on all the other characters. It shakes things up a lot, cuz they cant /always/ just be fighting lol.
@artsfreak98 It wouldn't be the first time shes been referred to as such, though Loly seemed to think she was a devil. Event rejection is the most godly power the show has displayed from a character so far, but with her i think its in good hands. Shes prone to a lot of negative human emotions, and that really keeps her grounded as a human being, but her respect for life and lack of prejudice is truly astounding even for a fictional character.

@AnimeFreakLucky7 Funnily enough i have managed to convert a few people from hating her to loving her, but generally if they see an Orihime video i feel their MO is to not watch it, rate it down and leave a comment saying she sucks and ichiruki 4evaaaa etc. I think the key is in making them realise that she isnt a threat to anyone and that there are no pairings for her to break up, but its rare to see someone mature enough to accept that. :(
@Northstar1109 I didn't think it was possible to turn a hater into a lover, at least, where Orihime's concerned. That's neat. Yeah, know what ya mean, she's not trying to break anyone up and is not a threat. My sister, who's five years younger than me hates her for that reason, and because of that, I don't think I can watch Bleach in the same room as her anymore, simply because I'll hear " Oh my god its that whore! She's trying to take Rukia away from Ichigo!".
@AnimeFreakLucky7 I think mainly the young girls HATE her, they dont all read the book and the anime downplays her quite a lot. I think they see Rukia as that pretty girl with the great personality who loses the guy to the bitch with the hot rack. Ive seen personal issues show up in some of the hate mail ive gotten, one fangirl even threatened to kill me, it was one of my biggest 'the kids arent alright' moments lol. I think older fans see it a lot more for what it is and dont take it as serious

I adore all your videos, but this one may be my new favourite. Your editing skills are spot on and I teared up a bit at the end of this one. Really made an impression on me. @oceandeepfall Thanks :D It was a bit of a nightmare to make actually, since it builds up like that i had to make sure the visuals didnt outpace the song, and it was so hard trying to make the start look interesting lol. Its a very beautiful song though, id never heard it until a few days ago which really helps when editing an AMV, i mustve heard it about 60 billion times now lol.

@kindestchains Truth be told id really like to do a full all out Captain Amerihime AMV but it would take a hell of a lot of work to manipulate the footage and images in to looking like they fit. I'm sort of examining options right now, but i think next up will probably be either an all around Bleach video, something Haruhi related, or Young Avengers. :S

Of all the people I sub your editing style is probably the furthest from my comfort zone. Even though I spent most of the amv being distracted/frustrated by all the fx - I still got the emotional impact you were trying to convey.
Congratulations.
You just made me like this amv in SPITE of my personal artistic preferences.

@Northstar1109 Be flattered, be very flattered. ^_^ I consider it a mark of excellence when someone comments that an amv of mine made them fave a song they otherwise would have hated. In your case its a style of fx editing - but the same principle applies.

shes not my favorite character but i do still love her,she is NEEDED in this manga/anime for her caring personality and thats what makes her special and different from all the other characters who just fight
altho rukia is my fav i love orihimes kind and caring personality and i hate when people criticize her EVERY move just because they hate her,i really don't understand why...well i guess thats what they call blind hatered?

@0animelover0 I agree. Ive seen some of the voice actors from the show say that if she (or Rukia) wasnt around the story would feel very wierd. I think she brings a lot to the book that otherwise wouldnt exist, since its a shounen story. she sort of represents all that stuff that gets left out and has an unusual effect on all the other characters. It shakes things up a lot, cuz they cant /always/ just be fighting lol.

@artsfreak98 It wouldn't be the first time shes been referred to as such, though Loly seemed to think she was a devil. Event rejection is the most godly power the show has displayed from a character so far, but with her i think its in good hands. Shes prone to a lot of negative human emotions, and that really keeps her grounded as a human being, but her respect for life and lack of prejudice is truly astounding even for a fictional character.

I love how you make these. Orihime is my favorite character in Bleach. She's honest, caring, kind, and so much more=) I love how it feels you give her this voice that only you seem to truely understand, and I love you for it=D I can't stand the amount of hate this girl gets simply because she's in love with the lead guy and her breasts are big. She so much more than that! To bad the haters will never understand=( Oh, by the way, great vid, favorite all the way=)

@AnimeFreakLucky7 Funnily enough i have managed to convert a few people from hating her to loving her, but generally if they see an Orihime video i feel their MO is to not watch it, rate it down and leave a comment saying she sucks and ichiruki 4evaaaa etc. I think the key is in making them realise that she isnt a threat to anyone and that there are no pairings for her to break up, but its rare to see someone mature enough to accept that. :(

@Northstar1109 I didn't think it was possible to turn a hater into a lover, at least, where Orihime's concerned. That's neat. Yeah, know what ya mean, she's not trying to break anyone up and is not a threat. My sister, who's five years younger than me hates her for that reason, and because of that, I don't think I can watch Bleach in the same room as her anymore, simply because I'll hear " Oh my god its that whore! She's trying to take Rukia away from Ichigo!".

@AnimeFreakLucky7 I think mainly the young girls HATE her, they dont all read the book and the anime downplays her quite a lot. I think they see Rukia as that pretty girl with the great personality who loses the guy to the bitch with the hot rack. Ive seen personal issues show up in some of the hate mail ive gotten, one fangirl even threatened to kill me, it was one of my biggest 'the kids arent alright' moments lol. I think older fans see it a lot more for what it is and dont take it as serious

I adore all your videos, but this one may be my new favourite. Your editing skills are spot on and I teared up a bit at the end of this one. Really made an impression on me. You're so right, the love between them is... well, intense would be an understatement. It could make reality just collapse haha! :D Also, the last 30 seconds of that made me LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

I felt a little disheartened when I saw which song it was, since there are so many many videos that use this song, and fail to make an impression, but this one exceeded my expectations. The last bit really made me laugh out loud. Why can't everyone see the fated, passionate bond that exceeds alternate universes. Mind-blowing.

@0MGARSH Yeah i wasnt aware it was so popular actually, i just recently heard it but i figured it was the kind of song that probly had a lot of exposure. I dont like checking out other AMVs with the same songs so i dont get influenced and start each one with a blank slate, but its a much more complex song to use than it appears, i wouldnt be surprised if a lot of editors had trouble with it xD Thank you though, much appreciated!

Orihime <33333 Omg you're baaack omg <3333 And OH MY GOSH when I heard this song I was like "loveyoualwaysforever *insert tears of joy*" I love this song. Both this version and the other one. Such a friggin' beautiful song and yes, totally fits Orihime. I love how this amv shows everyone who was involved in Orihime's life (up until the new arc of course haha). And yes, Captain Amerihime. ;D

HURRAY YOU'RE BACK!! Absolutely lovely video- I adore how it starts off so slow and graceful and then builds into an AMAZING crescendo of color and images. ^_^ Not to mention I absolutely -adore- this song... so pretty!

@oceandeepfall Thanks :D It was a bit of a nightmare to make actually, since it builds up like that i had to make sure the visuals didnt outpace the song, and it was so hard trying to make the start look interesting lol. Its a very beautiful song though, id never heard it until a few days ago which really helps when editing an AMV, i mustve heard it about 60 billion times now lol.

@kindestchains Truth be told id really like to do a full all out Captain Amerihime AMV but it would take a hell of a lot of work to manipulate the footage and images in to looking like they fit. I'm sort of examining options right now, but i think next up will probably be either an all around Bleach video, something Haruhi related, or Young Avengers. :S
