The only place where your safety is ensured is really like The east End and South east such as Upper Monroe and Swillburg, even i have been chased in the South Wedge, maybe Charlotte is okay just cause of the shops and stuff idk but in between St paul Portland/ Goodman u dont wanna be walkin around at night lol

The murder rate is high but it's pretty much tied to the drug trade. Also the violence that does happen is really concentrated. That is the thing about this city. You start off in a really bad area and walk for 10 minutes and you're in a nice part of town.
