@acesigma06 well obviously its not gonna sound as good as the original music which was specifically MADE for these clips. if you took the clips from Stolen Earth and put them to the music from remembrance, even if you do so carefully and with meaning, its gonna sound as good
i always feel sad when i see Skaro explode lol. I hope the Thals have moved on before he did that. But then again they are probably all dead now anyway xD
@CaptainPositron The reason these rescore videos have the music so loud is that they can't strip out the original score. If they made it too low, you would hear the original score blending with the rescore and it would sound weird. I think these rescores also assume you have seen the original to compare it to and would know enough of the dialogue to understand the scene.
I think you'll find that "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust." is the best quote eva ;D
I love that episode, best from the old series I think. And this just proves the only thing that's changed in the new series is an increased budget and the musical score.
As loud and annoying Murray Gold's score is, it does add a lot to the atmosphere.
This is the last time we ever see the classic Daleks

You should the original score to compare to this, because Murry Gold's music will never be on par with Keff McCulloch's.
The new series opening titles and music look and sound older than the 7th Dr. ones.

I was always fond with Keff's music, but I think Murray's works much better!

@furyplum44 - it is indeed of its time. "Remembrance"'s score isn't bad at all. But I'd rather hear how Mark Ayres might have scored it.
