Well i use 99% pure Sodium hydroxide that is easily purchased at farm-ware shops for about $5.00 a Kg which i then use a ratio of 4:1 4 parts water and 1 part/s Sodium hydroxide which then gives me a high concentration of a powerful base than has an exothermic reaction with aluminum foil which creates the bi-products Sodium Aluminate and Hydrogen gas

TIP: The exothermic reaction is so hot it can melt through glass if heated higher with an external heat which is pretty nasty so be careful thanks

wow. also u should try this. first u need a empty 2 liter bottle and a second u need a pump and last but not least u need a water. so first u fill the empty soda bottle half way wit h water then as quick as possible flip it over on the pump. then when it is on the pump start pumping the pump.the bttle will fly over a hundred feet in the air. U can also try this without water but it wont be as good......... have fun and it only takes like 3 minouts of ur time. . plz write back if u try this .

Warning...if u have gotten closer that coulda done soem damage...u see that leaf right in front of the bottle...when it exploded the leaf burned really quickly and was coverd in ash and then the burn stopped...but so fast u cant see it because of the explosion...so dont be near that when you do it

nothing burned... there is no fire in that reaction. aluminum and drain cleaner, which is basically hydrochloric acid, react to form hydrogen, which expands the bottle. it would burn if there was fire near it though.

Haha yea, next time I will. The ground was uneven and I was backing up a lot cuz I wasn't sure how strong the explosion was gonna be. I can't say how it was made, but I will say that it's not a dry ice bomb. I think these are a lot more powerful. If it was just dry ice I would have said so, they're pretty common.
